Safina “Safi” Brooks is a struggling writer who works as a personal assistant by day and as an exotic dancer by night in one of the most popular strip clubs in New York appropriately named “Fire and Desire” where she performs under the name of “Angel” unbeknownst to everyone except her roommate who is also her co-worker on her day job.
