The plot has potential but the main characters have no chemistry so I started skipping chapters.

Chapter 1
“It’s happening! He is gone!” Althea cried out to her sister, Sabrina. “What do you mean?” Sabrina asked, slightly confused. She was standing over her crystal, looking at her creations. “Adron! He has left and went to his own plane!” Althea was hysterically crying. She knew what this meant. Adron was their brother. Sabrina was the Moon Goddess and had created what she called humans. Althea loved the creation so she added her own love into it. She called herself, Mother Nature. Together they made a world with love, greenery and every color you could imagine. Adron was an evil soul that sought out destruction and violence. He created a world that embodied evil. It was filled with fire, dragons and pitch black creatures that lived in the shadows. They would creep out and grab your ankle, pulling the unwilling to the underworld. Sabrina and Althea were scared this might happen. Together, they discussed a plan. Sabrina would create a new race within the humans. She called them werewolv

Chapter 2
“Good Morning!” I heard my bedroom door open and people walk in. Oh my! It is my 18th birthday! Opening my eyes, I sat straight up to see my parents standing over my bed with a present in their hand.“Wake up, sleepy head!” “I’m awake!” I yawned as I smiled at them. They came around and sat down on the edge of the bed. Today was going to be a long one, best one yet of all the birthdays that I have had. “Happy birthday!” My mom gave me a kiss on the forehead as my dad smiled at me. They weren’t my biological parents. They adopted me after they found me in the woods, but they raised me as their daughter and loved me as such. “Here, open your present!” My mother, Gwen, handed me a bag that said ‘Happy Birthday’ with every color on it with yellow tissue paper sticking out of the top. Ripping that off, I found a small black velvet box. Picking it up, setting the bag down and opening the black box to reveal a pair of pearl earrings. “These are beautiful!”“I’m glad you like them, sweety.

Chapter 3
Turning, I saw this man. He had white hair with brown, almost black eyes. He towered over my 5’8 inch frame, but was slender. He was dressed in all black suit with a black tie and shoes. His clean-shaven face was staring daggers at me, but he was still smiling.“Hello.” I said to be polite, but I was screaming on the inside for help. “My name is Adron. I assume you are Ms. Ivory?” “Yes. May I ask where you live at?” I was very much on guard talking to him. Glancing around, I tried to catch anyone’s eye. He smiled and let out a chuckle. “Far, far away from here. I have been waiting a long time to meet you and since you are 18, my chance has finally arrived.” “What do you mean by that? Waiting to meet me?” He was older, like my dad’s age, so what did he want with me?“I must confess, I am your only blood uncle.” Adron dropped the bomb on me like it was just a normal conversation. I sucked in a deep breath and took a step back. His white hair, his face and body style… is this true? I

I knew that voice and my eyes started to tear up as I turned to look at him in the face. He was staring at me like I was the most beautiful human in the whole world, but he was waiting for my reaction. “Mate” I whispered. My hand came up and touched the side of his face. What felt like forever. He finally lowered his face and pressed his lips against mine. The kiss was the most magical thing I have ever experienced. His arms were wrapped around me, keeping my body pressed against his. He finally ended the kiss, but kept his forehead to mine. “I have searched for you for so long. After our first meeting, I just knew that you were mine, mine to keep forever.” His voice was like music to my ears. “*Cough, Cough*” came from beside us. I turned to see my dad looking at us. “Dad, you know Alpha Jet, he is my mate!” I said as Alpha Jet moved me beside him as he kept his hand around my waist but was much more proper and respectful. “Good Evening again, Alpha Nathaniel. It is true that

Chapter 5
The blackness turned to white and then to green. Grass erupted from nothingness like what you would see in the movie. An extremely large fountain materialized. It was a small pool with a dove standing in the middle, with water spraying into the air. The sky was light blue with small white clouds sprinkled through it. A warm, gentle breeze grabbed the base of my dress and exposed my legs. Walking to the fountain and sitting down on the edge, I just stared at the water. It wasn’t until I realized what I was seeing that made me gasp and jump up. Holy crap! Getting on my knees on the grass, I leaned over the edge and got as close to the water as I possibly could. I saw people walking down the street, cars driving and animals playing. It was like I was watching a movie through water. No way was this possible! Taking my hand, I went to dip it into the water. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” A soft voice startled me. Spinning around, I was greeted by the most beautiful women I have ev

Chapter 6
I instantly felt defensive. “I dunno, just the first thing that I found. Feel free to change the channel. I rarely watch as much T.V. as it is.” “Oh? Why’s that?” Jet asked, he seemed seriously interested. “I’m usually outside or working.” I shrugged. I let myself relax into him. It felt natural and I fit perfectly into him. My pale skin glowed in the moonlight that was shining in from the open windows. It wasn’t a sexual tension but a comfortable atmosphere. A safe place. “You don’t get sunburned with your porcelain skin?” “Never. I guess it makes sense now why that is…” I trailed off, not sure what to say. I felt his concern go through me. “What are you concerned about?” I asked, without looking at him. “If you are okay.” He said quickly. I didn’t get any hint of a lie from him. Usually I can tell when someone is lying easily, and he wasn’t lying. “I will be. I… I just…” “Talk to me.” Jet said. He pushed the mute button and turned me so I was on my back. Adjusting the p

Chapter 7
The next morning, I woke up to an empty bed. My eyes focused on the cold black silk sheet that was proof that he indeed was not beside me, but the dull ache between my legs and on my neck told me last night wasn’t a dream. That didn’t stop me from being pissed he wasn’t there. Throwing the covers off me, started stomping towards the door to go back to my room. It was only when my hand grasped the cold black metal door knob that I realized I was butt-ass naked. Shit! Looking around, I found his suitcase and the white button-up shirt he had worn last night. Thankfully, he is taller than me because the shirt came down to the top of my knees. Buttoning it up, I walked out of his room and went straight to mine. Never in my 18 years of life did I ever think I would do the walk of shame in my own fucking house at who the fuck knows what time it is. There wasn’t a single soul who met me, so it must still be early. The sun was peaking out over the trees and the birds had started chirruping.

Chapter 8
“What’s wrong?” Jet asked. He was sitting across from me. His head was resting in his hand with his ankle back over his leg. He liked to sit like that I noticed. “Everything is so… impersonal here. No conversations, no one dared to speak, basically.” I said bluntly. “That is how I run things. I am fair, but no emotions. You can’t run a pack with your heart, you have to use your brain.” My jaw dropped at this. “Excuse me? You expect me, the daughter of the Moon Goddess and Mother Nature, to assist you in running our pack and NOT use my heart?” His heart did a flip when I said our pack. “Coming to terms with it, I see.” “You can’t expect me to sit quietly behind you and just look the part. I will not change who I am because you don’t like to use your heart.” “Rule number one, NEVER disagree with me in public. You can express your concerns in private. If you have ideas on things, you may bring them up to me in private and we can discuss things. I am not saying I will change ho

Chapter 9
The plane landed on what looked like a private runway. No other planes were around, and the surrounding landscape was farming. Countless people were moving back and forth as they worked on their land or on the tractors. “We grow our own food and also distribute it. It is a large source of income for the pack. I, personally, have invested and own a few companies, but as a pack, we thrive off of those fields.” We walked to some golf carts looking things and got in. Jet was driving us as everyone else followed us. A winding road took us through some trees and up a narrow path. The forest was absolutely beautiful here. Life was everywhere I looked. The thick green forest floor with the blooming brush barely made the rabbits and squirrels visible. A deer started running beside us. It was a doe with two small fawns with spots still. They followed us for a good mile before they stopped at a stream for a drink. A large metal gate appeared before us. It looked like something out of the mo

“Oh, really?” I laughed as I pushed him off me and kept walking. Walking alongside of me, Jet still has lingering sexual feelings running through his veins. This will take getting used to. It’s not that I don’t mind him touching me every chance he gets, but I’ve had no one do that… well, I let no one do that. “Here was are, OUR room.” Jet made a deal about saying the word “our” like I was going to argue about sharing a room with him. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was the huge floor to ceiling windows. They were massive, as it overlooked the forest below. His room complimented that with warm neutral colors of green and browns. A fluffy olive green quilt sat on his bed with cream sheets. A wooden headboard framed the wall with lights above each end table. A T.V hung down on a system that looked like it went up into the ceiling if not used. A small kitchen sat on the right with a large livingroom area with a couch and a love seat. The vanity was off to the side and two doors on
