Title: Demon God Against Heaven
Demon God Against Heaven is going to impress you with a story related to these questions. What if the NPCs in our games are real people living in the game world? What if they also have lives and missions to do? Like we are playing a computer game while the NPCs in our game are completing their own missions to survive in their own game. I have to say I’m attracted by the storyline and couldn’t help imagining what it would be like if we are all NPC and the life we are living now is just a game. I’m sure your thoughts will wonder cheerfully while reading this story.
Ryder Flynn dies mysteriously in the first fully immersive virtual reality game and is reborn as a NPC in the game. It seems fate is making a joke with him, he gets killed again in the game. The intelligent artificial guide Maya made his remaining consciousness as an NPC again. Ryder could still think, and he retained his memory, but he couldn’t do anything but the the specific task assigned to him. In order to get back his real body, Ryder made a deal with human-like system which forces him to become a host. He gave the system a name called Janus. Janus would assign tasks to Ryder to do including killing people... Having overcome all the difficulties, Ryder was finally reincarnated.
After reincarnating, Ryder finds a bracelet of immortality which follows him to the real world. The mysterious bracelet was sealed and it needed 26 fragments to be completely unsealed. Every unsealed fragment would give some incredible power to the user. First fragment was the power of time; second was the power of healing...
I really like the story because on the one hand it is closely related to our real life while on the other hand it creates a world we have never dared to think about before. For me, it offers me a new perspective to see life. We are all NPC of the game of life and we accomplish tasks every day. Day by day, we are kind of doing the same tasks as Ryder first did in the game right? Get up, go to work, eat and sleep... The difference is that we have more freedom to master our own life. So cherish life and enjoy living it!
Well, I’ll stop here and leave you some space to imagine the rest of the story! How can I steal the fun of reading this fantastic story from you?
