Excitement

“What?” Blakeley asked.

“Sign here, and here.” Alex said and handed her a pen then pointed at the spots she would sign. Blakeley was too stunned to speak or do anything, all she did was stare at Alex. She felt her heart race in excitement and joy and also fear.

Tears clouded her eyes and burst into tears.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Alex scoffed.

Blakeley turned away from Alex and tried to control her tears.

“It needs your signature, not your tears.” Alex said and she sniffed, she wiped her tears and turned to him, she took the pen and as she signed the spots her signatures were needed, tears welled up in her eyes again.

She signed them and handed them back to Alex, the tear rolled down her cheeks and she sniffed.
