This was supposed to have been uploaded yesterday but some work came up so I didn't finish it in time. Hope you like it!
"Wake up pretty boy,” I heard someone call out to me followed by a sharp kick in my ribs. I groaned in pain as I rolled on my side and my eyes fluttered open but I still couldn’t see anything because of the black bag covering my head. It was making it so hard to breathe and I wondered how I was still alive after hitting my head so hard because I could feel the sharp pain piercing through my skull and making everything around me spin even though I was laying on a hard surface which I assumed was the floor. “Aw, look he’s in pain,” one of the guys cooed as someone kicked me hard in the ribs once more. “Isn’t it so cute?” I wriggled in pain as I tried to get away from them, feeling the pain in my head and coursing through me which made it hard to even try and get away. “Please, let me go. I don’t know what I did but please,” I was able to find my voice and plead for my life. This went far beyond action movies. I was in real danger and the worst part about all of this was that I was in
“What do you mean? I moved away from him as his eyes turned darker. I didn’t have a good feeling about this anymore. Something in him had changed and whatever he meant, I was very certain I was not going to like it one bit. “Evan?”But Evan just stood up and walked out of the room, leaving me alone. Now I was panicking because he looked like he was going to do something that would really break me. I had to get out of here when I still had the chance. I tried removing the binds on my wrists but they were fastened really tightly. Crap, I really had to get out of here but whatever I tried, nothing seemed to be working. Maybe this was my fate, to always suffer and have my heart broken ever since time I felt like I was starting to heal.Evan came back a few minutes later with Ryan and two more other guys. My heart beat increased as everything started to sink in. It had all been a ruse to get me here.“Was it all fake?” I asked, feeling the fight in me disappear as I hang my head in defeat.
“You know, sometime you are gonna have to get out there and explore,” Keith said as he plopped on the couch and grabbed the remote. “I know you miss your friends but I highly doubt that any of them will want you to basically be the walking dead while they aren’t here.”I mentally rolled my eyes. “It’s not like that, you know I have a lot going on with Uni and I can’t afford to fail. Not now, not ever.”Keith scoffed and turned to face me, “you have got to be kidding me. Let’s get some facts correct here for a change: you are one of the smartest people in faculty of Arts you aren’t broke, like ever and you have looks to kill. All the girls in my faculty who have seen you always ask about you but ever time I have to turn them down on your behalf which ends up making me look like a jerk or worse off, that I have a secret crush on you,” he said matter-of-factly. “Just come with me to tonight’s party and prove everyone wrong.”“Prove them wrong in what regards?” I arched an eyebrow and plac
The next morning I woke up with a major headache and in the most uncomfortable position anyone can ever wake up in. I looked at my surroundings at I wasn’t sure where I was but when the person next to me stirred, I nearly fell off the bed. “What the actual fuck. Who are you?” I yelled but then grabbed my head to stop it from spinning. The guy’s eyes bulged open and he stared at me with his mouth agape with utter disbelief and disgust but no words came out of his gaping mouth. I tried to recall what had happened the previous night but my memory was all messed up. Feeling shame with myself for allowing this happen, I grabbed my phone and jacket and bolted out of there as fast as I could. I had over ten missed calls from Keith, two from Nick and Kai and one from an unknown number. I dialled Keith’s number as I sat by the curb of the road, not feeling like I could make it if I continued walking. Keith picked up on the second ring, “Yo dude, where the hell are you? I looked for you ever
“This year’s Art Show is going to be held and organised by you. I believe you have the passion and drive to make this the best Art Show the entire university ever had,” our Professor went on saying but I was half paying attention to what he was saying. My mind was preoccupied with the events of the last few days from Friday and the rest of the weekend. The more I thought about it, the more wary I became. If he could so easy find me at my apartment, then what chance did I have of him not finding out exactly where I was or what department I was from? Panic raised through me as my hands got clammy and the pencil I was holding fell to the floor.“Are you okay?” Olivia whispered as she leaned closer to me.I turned my gaze to her momentarily and then looked back at the professor who was still explaining what he expected to see from us at the Art Show.“Yeah, just thinking about the Art Show,” I replied with a smile and Olivia smiled back at me. “I’m super excited about it but I know my a
“You do something to me that I hate,” Liam breathed as he pinned me to the wall of his suite. He was looking right at me but it felt as though he could see through me which was unnerving. I don’t know how I had found myself agreeing to go with him again after lunch. There really was something wrong with me and each time I was in his presence I told myself it wasn't going to happen again, but here I was, being pinned to the wall. “Let go of me, this isn’t why I agreed to come with you,” I said and tried to push him off of me but he held me tight, his body pressing hard against me. “I’m not some hooker you know, I have standards and this is definitely not how I imagined my first hookup to be,” the words left my mouth before I could even process what exactly I had just said. A half-smirk appeared on Liams face before he sighed and nuzzled my neck lightly, leaving a trail of kisses in his wake. A shiver passed through me. Dammit I wasn’t supposed to be reacting to him and his touch but
“What brings you in today?” Dr. Peterson asked, she folded her hands on her lap and looked at me expectantly in that friendly way she always liked doing that made you want to tell her everything that was on your mind.I fidgted with my fingers, suddenly feeling like I had made a bad choice by calling and schedulling an appointment. But in the moment I had rang up her office, I didn’t know what I was doing. “I’m fine, it’s nothing. I don’t know why I called in the first place.” I abruptly stood up. “Sorry for disturbing you. I will be leaving now.”I was almost to the door when Dr. Peterson spoke from behind me, stopping me right in my tracks. “Are you sleeping okay these days?”“Not really.” I found myself answering truthfully with a sigh. I spun around to face her and she still had the same welcoming expression on her face but now her notebook was on the table besides her chair. “Sometimes it gets easy to sleep then other times I just stare at the wall.”“Do you want me to prescribe
My heart was racing, of all the people I could run into it had to be him. I pushed myself away from him and straightened myself. “What are you doing here?” I wanted to sound confident and unaffected by his presence but my voice deceived me. He smirked as he eyed me up and down, finding the whole thing amusing. “I could be asking you the same thing, only I saved your arse from falling and embarrassing yourself more than you always do,” his voice was laced with a hint of taunting and he slowly crossed his arms around his chest. “The least you can do is say thank you. Didn’t your parents teach you any manners? Oh, wait, they were hardly around because they couldn’t stand you.” I swallowed hard, for everyone I had to meet, it just had to be him and I wasn’t ready to talk to him about anything. “I-I have to go,” my voice was small and it reminded me of being scared as a kid and this was not the time. I had to get out of here and as far away from him as possible. I tried stepping past him
