'I'm his girlfriend'

That single statement kept echoing in my head, making my whole body numb like ice. I couldn't utter a single word, my voice was lost. Even when I tried to speak I felt like something was stuck into my throat, stopping me to speak.

She might have said something after that, but I didn't hear anything. His phone slid down from my hand to the bed as I took back steps. My legs wobbled to walk. Did I mishear her? No! She said she had been his girl. She said that. I was not wrong at all.

My eyes burnt, releasing the vapour. The next moment, I just turned back and walked towards the door. 

"Who was that?", I heard Jay said from behind. However, I rushed out of the room without even looking at him for once. "Fiama! Are you going to the class?", he asked allowed when I was running along the corridor.

Tears streamed down my eyes and I felt my legs weakening. My wolf was howling inside, angry and frustrated. B
