After an hour, I and Jay reached the council office, David and William following us. As soon as we entered, two large-bodied wolves appeared while howling at Jay. Before they could reach us, I groaned.
"Alpha Stephen and Smith want to meet us along with him. We have permission. Please", as I said, they let us come inside.
My heart was pounding with each step I took but Jay held my hand tightly, giving continuous squeezes to give me the courage I was missing harder.
I stepped inside the conference room as all the eyes drifted to us. I made sure, I held Jay's hand tightly when their eyes lingered down to our hands. Their dirty reaction towards Jay was disturbing me the most.
