Jasmine’s POV

“I understand that you are confused right now but don't you think that it's quite appalling to talk to me in that manner?” Alex asked me and I looked down .

I left my tongue slip and forgot that I was in his pack and not the other way around. “I am sorry about that. I was just shocked.” I apologized.

“That’s fine. I won’t be rejecting you. You need to get that thought out of your head first.” He said to me and i clenched my fist on thr sheets on the bed tightly. The nurse looked at my hand but said nothing. She looked at me in pity and I hated that.

“Leave us alone.” He said to the nurse at once when he noticed that she wasn’t making any move to leave us alone.

She left and it was just us in the room. I looked everywhere but him and he sat on the chair beside my bed.
