Chapter Five

Jasmine’s POV

I felt the sun glaring on my face and I turned to my side painfully.

“You are awake.” an unfamiliar voice said in the background. My eyes were still shut so I didn't know where I was. All I knew was that it was unfamiliar and it wasn't the pack that I just ran out from.

“Where could this be? Could I have ran into another trap?” I asked myself in fear and suddenly remembered what I heard before I passed out.

I could clearly hear someone calling me mate. It might have been a mistake though. I was already weak and losing my mind so I must have misheard it. I just left a toxic pack, mate and husband and the moon goddess will give me another mate immediately? That's not possible.

I tried every means to convince myself that it wasn't but I was interrupted when my eyes was opened gently and a touch was shone inside my eyes.

“You seem okay. Why don't you open your eyes and sit up now? You don't have to be scared. You are safe.” the female doctor to me softly but I didn't do it yet.

This was just another means of getting me trust and then breaking it. All I knew while leavingy pack was never to trust anyone again.

If my mate could rape me and do all those things that he did then there is nothing anyone can't do.

I heard the room door open and I felt the hairs on my body rise. The person that just walked into the room definitely had a very strong aura. It was either the Alpha or Beta of this pack.

I also felt the doctor change of energy. She comported herself very well.

“Alpha.” I heard her greet and I froze. I felt someone beside me and I could tell that it was the same person that called out to me before I fainted.

“Is she okay?” he asked the doctor.

“Yes. I just confirmed that she is awake but she is refusing to open her eyes. I don't know what to do at this point Alpha.” she said and I gripped on the sheets on the bed rightly.

I heard him sigh then move away from me. “That's fine. Can you leave us alone?” he asked her instead if commanding her like Tyler would do to my surprise.

“Of course Alpha. There was no need asking.” she said and I heard the door close which meant that she left already.

“You can open your eyes now.” he said to me and I opened them slightly not knowing what I was going to face the moment I see him.

His eyes landed on me and I saw a sense of relief in his body. I could tell that he was really my mate from the way my Wolf responded in me.

She was all jumpy and happy all of a sudden but that didn't explain the mate I already had. How can I have two?

We held the eyes contact for a while until I looked away. “I am sorry for trespassing in your pack. I will leave now that I am okay and can walk on my own. Thanks for letting your pack doctor treat me. I am really grateful.” I said in a cold voice and a frown took over his pretty face.

What did I just say? I mean his face.

“What do you mean?” he asked me.

“I will leave now that I am okay.” I repeated myself.

“I didn't ask you to leave.” he said to me softly.

My heart was thumping loud in my chest while I stared at him. This pack was known to be a really feared pack. I could not let myself stay here any longer.

“I don't want to stay Alpha.” I said to him.

He walked to me very quickly that I felt dizzy and touched my hand sending sparks everywhere. “Don't you feel this? Don't lie to me. You are my mate and the rightful Luna of this pack. Where are you going to?” he asked me.

“I mistakenly trespassed. I will leave as soon as possible.” I ignored him and repeated myself.

“You didn't trespass! I brought you here! I rescued you from the people that were about to kill you.” he said to me rather harshly this time.

“So I owe you right?” I asked him and his face palmed himself.

“That's not what I meant. You don't owe me anything. All I am asking is for you to please stay with me.” he said to me.

“No. I won't do that. I cant make the same mistake twice.” I said the last sentence quietly.

“This won't take long. My name is Jasmine. Reject me quickly so I can leave or I can do that rejection.” I said to him and his eyes widened in shock.

“I won't reject you!” he growled in anger and possessiveness.

“You will. Why can't you? You have to do that because I don't want a mate.” I said to him but we were interrupted by a knock on the door.

A nurse came in with a paper in her hand and a smile on her face. She acknowledged the Alpha and then turned to me.

“The pack doctor said that we should conduct another test just to make sure that it was accurate.” she said to me and I was confused. I was only feeling lightheaded and I don't think that required a test.

“What do you mean?” I asked her and looked at the Alpha. He also seemed to know what was going on except for me.

“Congratulations! You are pregnant with twins. One week to be precise.” she said to me and I felt dizzy all of a sudden.

“Congratulations? Not only have I been wronged but now I have to carry the product of what I faced?“ I shouted with tears pouring down my eyes.

“Do you want this? You want to carry this mess? Reject me now!” I said to the Alpha.
