Chapter One Hundred Five

MAX'S POV

I wasn't seeing anything other than red.

Red blood clouded my vision as I held onto my sword so tight.

I watched my men as they began to prepare to leave for the war.

My men at the forefront were doing good. A hundred hunters were dead at the moment, and I would not stop till I was sure my children were fine and brought home.

FLASHBACK...

I had gone home with Rick to get some things Amelia would use since she was asked to stay in the hospital by the nurses.

When I arrived at the hospital, Amelia was asleep, and the children...my children were nowhere to be found.

After I had successfully taken out the wolfsbane mixed with sedatives that had been injected into Amelia's body...she woke up.

"Are you back? I don't know what happened; I just fell asleep out of nowhere." She said, cleaning her face with her hand. Her eyes went to the crib, and she sighed.

"Who's with the kids? Is it Rick?" The question burned my whole body right into my heart and it was as if...I stopped breathing
