“I’ll whip you one hundred times, Ricky. I don’t care how many times he chooses to whip you but for my satisfaction, I’ll whip you for one hundred times,” Bane said.

“One!” He yelled as he struck Ricky with his whip.

I stroked Ricky as well but he seemed to only react to my strike and not that of Bane.

“Two,” Bane striked again.

“Three,” Bane striked.

“Four,” Bane striked.

“Five,” Bane striked.

“Six,” Bane striked.

“Seven,” Bane striked.

Oh no, I can’t see Ricky getting hurt this bad. I can feel whatever pain he is feeling right now and I can tell he’s fighting to stay alive. I have to do something, I thought.

“Eigh—ouch!” Bane cried.

Bane went for his eighth stroke at Ricky but I struck him before he did.

“Oh my word! How could my hand slip in a time like this? I’m so clumsy. Oh my goodness, are you alright sir?” I asked, feeling remorseful.
