EPISODE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN- SORRY DOESN’T CUT IT

Julian’s POV

“Yes, I tried to talk to her, but she didn’t want to talk to me,” Henri sulked, and a smirk appeared on my face.

I understood why Karyna was giving him the cold shoulder, and it was satisfying to witness him pleading for her forgiveness. “I'm sure she'll find it easier to talk to you than she did with me," I commented.

I winced. Oh, he didn't know yet.

“I didn't mention it earlier because, well... we weren't exactly on speaking terms at the time. I didn't want to come across as boasting, but Karyna and I have been in touch. She reached out to explain everything,” I confessed.

The brooding expression on his face dropped as soon as I said that. He looked as if I told him the world was about to end tomorrow.

“What?” I asked, frowning.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you two were in contact? You acted so nonchalant like you’ve given up on her or something,” he exclaimed, throwing his hands up in disbelief.

“I will never give up on Karyna,” I rebuked, narrowing my eyes at him.
