Wish me luck

"Wish me luck." She whispered after nearing him so that no one could hear her. They all looked at both of them and wondered what they were talking about. Elijah was shocked would be an understatement. He looked up once to see everyone looking at them before looking down fast. 

"I wish you all the best." He said hurriedly. "I will wish you more well after we leave the mansion. Till then please excuse me." He said in a low tone before walking toward the exit of the mansion with a hurried step. 

Sarah kept looking at his back with a small frown and smiled a little after thinking that he might have gotten surprised and flustered after seeing that she came to him at first for the wish. 

After that she was walking back to everyone when her eyes fell on her phone on the couch where she was sitting. It was ringing continuously. She frowned and went up to see the call ended. She picked it up.
