Chapter Fifteen: Jealousy

Alas and Max and I are leaving, we are going to the plaza to buy clothes we wear in the big ballroom this coming Saturday. Magnus is at home with Flynn so the three of us will leave first.

"Why didn't you take Flynn to the ballroom? Can he just be the one to spy, right?" Alas asked and Max looked at him seriously. "Are you complaining? If you don't want to come then go down," Max replied annoyingly.

Alas didn't say a word and just stayed in his seat. ''Flynn needs to stay at home, you know he has a side mission and that's for Freeda to take our bait,'' I said. So Max just let Flynn approach Freeda, to make her fall in love with him, because that's the way we thought to gain his trust, only Flynn we thought could do that.

Freeda only approaches him, she seems comfortable when Flynn is with her. They’ve met before so I don’t wonder why he doesn’t get annoyed with Flynn.
