Chapter Fourteen: Tame

"You don't know how to play!" Alas shouted at Enzo. They are here in the living room playing chess. Magnus watches some movie while Jude puzzles the Rubiks cube he is holding and I'm here ironing Max's clothes.

''Checkmate!'' Enzo shouted and laughed at Alas who was scratching his head. "Tss, you only once won over me," Alas boasted. He threw the chessboard and the chess pieces were scattered on the floor, he left and rushed up the stairs.

''You might forget the condition! You will come with Max this coming Wednesday!'' Enzo added. He laughs picking up the scattered chess pieces on the floor.

"Where are they going?" I heard Magnus ask as he was minimizing the volume of the television using the remote. "They're going to the Plaza to buy clothes, there's a big ballroom party and Cassius and Alas were invited together with Max," Enzo replied. Magnus raised an eyebrow and seemed disappointed with what he heard.
