IN A HOT SEAT

When I went back to my house, I quickly played the recording on my phone and I have concluded that Nick and Hailey planned to meet tomorrow after the work. It really pisses me off knowing that he is going to betray me like this. I am the one who only owns my boyfriend and Hailey is just a nightmare throwback for Nick.

However, in as much as I would like to confront Nick, I know that he would still deny that there is something going on between him and Hailey. And because I am now superior to Hailey, I need to act more matured than her so that Nick will still choose me over to her. I am willing to forget about my friendship with Hailey if that is the only way I can be with Nick for the rest of my life.

While I am eating in the middle of the night, my stepfather suddenly came out.

"What's with the long face?" He asked me.

I smiled at my stepfather, "there is something to worry about!"
