Thirty Nine

The sounds of her own breaths is the only thing Shaina could hear as she tries to open her eyes trying to fight the darkness around her. It feels like she is struggling and her breaths become more loud.

Just as she is about losing her mind, she manage to get her eyes open and the ray of light stings them, she close her eyes back in a frown and try opening them seconds after, bit by bit in order to adjust to the bright light.

"Samael?" She called out to the person standing quite close to her reaching her fingers out to make sure she's right.

When the person turns to her and it is indeed Samael, Shaina's give a relief and happy smile, he come to her and take the fingers she is holding up.

"Where am I?" She asked after he releases her from a really tight hug

"Hospital, where humans get heal" he answered and that is when Shaina realize she is wearing a hospital gown.

"I want to go home" she told him immediately hating the smell of drugs and sick people.
