Chapter 1

The beginning

"Look look there, everyone he is coming, Nathan the billionaire is here!" one of the teenage boys shouted to his group known as the popular crowd.

The whole high school all eagerly turned to see where the boy was pointing to and all looked with wide eyes full of excitement as they saw their leader's very expensive golden limousine come into the high school gates.

He always came with different expensive car models and limousines of different colours each week. It was always exciting to some of the school students to bet on guessing on what kind of car model he would come with next.

"Nathan! Nathan!" They all started cheering as the limousine stopped in front of them and a chauffeur came to open the limousine door.

And then just like royalty, the golden boy, leader of the popular crowd who ruled the school, did what he wanted and was one of the richest Students at school ... came out with an arrogant smirk to be greeted by his adoring and chanting fans.

Being the son of the Vice President, his Father and a Famous Hollywood Superstar celebrity, his mother, his family was very rich and had billions of dollars at their disposal.

As the only child, Nathan from the beginning in the womb of his mother had been spoilt and showered with riches. From his 10 million diamond made crib as a toddler to owning his very own island as a birthday present at the age of 13 years old, life was very good for him even now as an 18 year old.

Unlike most rich kids whose parents neglected them to go and make money, Nathan' s parents were the best parents a kid could have. They never missed a single birthday of his, showered him with so much love and always performed perfectly their duties as parents to him.

Even whenever there was a function at school or he was playing in a football game. They always took time to attend and they gave him whatever he asked for or wanted. He was their only child after all.

As you can see at school life was also great for him.

He was popular, had many of these so called friends and everyone wanted to be his friend. He also had a charismatic character and could persuade anyone to do what he wanted even the teachers.

They never punished or gave him detention when he broke the school rules as they were afraid of his father the vice president would come for them.

For some teachers it was because they were fans of his celebrity mother so they let him do what he want and even begged him to bring them autographs from his mother.

While standing there with an arrogant smirk while hearing his name being cheered by his school mates, Nathan felt like he could take over the world. He also felt like a King but one with class as he set his own rules, did whatever he wanted and he controlled the whole school with everyone in the palm of his hands.

He had all the money he wanted in the world, heck he was worth millions and could even afford to buy his own little country if he wanted too. From his expensive designer shoes to his sparkling white teeth, anyone who saw him even without knowing him would quickly assume he was rich but also gorgeous too.

He had gotten his gorgeous looks from his Beautiful mother who was featured on magazine covers and on TV. He had beautiful brown eyes, handsome face, and gorgeous smile and was even voted number one in the hottest rich boy’s category by many magazines.

While standing there, his two bodyguards which his father hired for him came and stood next to him so that no one would be allowed to come near him or even worse touch him without his permission. Both of his bodyguards wore black suits, and shades and were former FBI agents trained in all kinds of fighting techniques. They were expensively hired by his father who always wanted the best for his son.

"Nathan babe." a voice shouted and he looked to see his beautiful hot girlfriend Clare coming to greet him. She was wearing a very short skirt to show her legs and had more cleavage. While passing through the crowd to get to her boyfriend she was glaring at every girl who was checking out her gorgeous boyfriend.

Nathan was hers and they would not be taking him away from her. For Claire she was the queen, what you call the queen bee.

As like all cliché high school stories she was also the captain of the cheerleaders and to her that automatically gave her the right to date Nathan the popular boy of the school. Another benefit of dating Nathan was that she got to eat his money as he liked spoiling his Lady. From sparkling rare diamonds as birthday gifts to the occasional trips to beautiful destinations like Paris for shopping spree, what else could a girl need?

As you can see, life was perfect for Nathan, he had a perfect family, many friends, was popular, had a hot Girlfriend, and most importantly was a very rich billionaire.

He had everything he wanted and so to him he was already like a god with people worshipping him wherever he went because of his money and he had everything he could want and he did not need God or so he thought.  However things are not always as they seem.

"Hey Love." he whispered in Claire's ear after they shared a hot smooch in front of the cheering group. She looked into his eyes and could see that the fool was now truly in love with her after their 5 years of dating. She now had him where she wanted as she had Nathan think that she also loved him back when the true fact was that she loved his money and popularity but not him.

She had everything planned in her head as they were going to get married obviously, and while they would be married she would travel around the world having love affairs in each country, eating his money while he was busy pursuing his dream career of being a billionaire business man making more money for her to spent.

"Hey baby, I missed you." she replied back in her best flirty voice and then they were off to their classes with everyone parting the way for the royal couple to pass through and the popular crowd following behind.
