Chapter 5: Awkward Encounters

Mia woke up feeling refreshed and content. Alessandra was nowhere to be found, so Mia assumed she had gone to work. She texted her parents to let them know she was okay, then headed downstairs in search of coffee.

"Good morning," Alessandra greeted her from the sofa, where she was typing away on her laptop.

Mia smiled and asked if there was any coffee. Alessandra pointed her to the coffee maker and then informed her that the housekeepers were aware of her stay and that she could ask them for anything she needed.

"Monica is my favorite, so she's got you," Alessandra added with a smile.

They then discussed the story they would tell if anyone asked about Mia's presence in the mansion. Alessandra suggested that they say Mia was a younger sister of a friend of hers who was here to model until she got a job.

Mia was hesitant. "Do you think they'll believe that I'm a model?" she asked. "I don't exactly fit the requirements."

Alessandra smiled. "Trust me, you'll fit in just fine," she said.

As they were talking, two men entered the mansion. Mia was caught off guard, realizing that she was only wearing a shirt without a bra and shorts without panties. The younger of the two men looked to be around her age, and Mia quickly concluded that he must be Alessandra's brother.

Alessandra introduced them as her brother, Michael, and his body guard, Alex. Mia couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious as they looked her up and down.

"Sorry for the intrusion," Michael said, breaking the awkward silence. "We didn't know you were here."

"It's fine," Alessandra reassured him. "Mia is just a friend who's staying with me for a while."

Michael nodded, still eyeing Mia curiously. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Mia," he said.

Mia smiled back, feeling a little more at ease. "Nice to meet you too," she replied.

Alessandra then suggested they all have breakfast together, and Mia couldn't help but feel grateful for the distraction. As they sat down to eat, Mia couldn't help but wonder what else Alessandra had in store for her during her stay.
