"You don't need to show me anything because I've already given this entire project to you." Sierra was stunned for a moment. Her soul seemed to float when she heard that.
"Really? Oh, well, I see." Sierra's face was filled with despair.
There seemed to be something wrong. Sierra's expression did not show happiness.
"You're not happy about getting this project?"
"No, I'm fine." Sierra denied it even though her face showed disappointment.
"I accepted your offer; we will work together. You should be happy. Isn't this what you came here for? So what's with your expression?"
Sierra furrowed her brows. "Expression? Project? What does that mean?" Sierra's face lit up.
"Yes, we've decided; your company is the only one to get the contract for this project. And here is the contract. I've prepared everything; please study it and contact me if there's anything you don't understand." A stack of files was in front of Sierra, making it difficult for her to react.
Sierra's face showed great surprise. "Wh-what are you kidding, Mis?" She still couldn't believe the files in her hands.
Lopiuy smiled at that. "No, Miss, this is serious. I have completely handed over this cooperation project to your company," Lopiuy assured.
"Sa-I guess, I still don't believe it. I'm very nervous."
"It's okay, Young Miss Sierra. Everything will be fine." Sierra smiled, taking his hand to ease her nervousness.
Sierra sighed in relief, "You're right, thanks for the deal." Sierra hurriedly moved her hand out of Lopiuy's reach.
"Then, if you'll excuse me, Miss Lopiuy." Sierra hurriedly left the room of Featherston's number two. There was a sense of discomfort as Lopiuy held her hand.
Why would she do that? Is she...? Gosh, this is so not right.

That night, when Gama returned to Audie's residence and opened the door, Giorgio doused him with a foul liquid.
The stench of the foul-smelling liquid clung to Gama's body, "What is the meaning of this, Giorgio?" Gama demanded, his voice filled with anger and disbelief.
Giorgio chuckled. There was a wicked glint in his eyes. "Consider it a parting gift from me, Gama."
Audie's words were a continuation of the attack. "You've kept us waiting, Gama. Your absence shows arrogance and disrespect for this family."
Jordan, who was standing with Audie, wore a look of disgust. "You took too long to come back; you've made me wait a long time!"
"You waited for me, for what?"
Jordan chuckled at that, "Don't play dumb, Gama. Don't forget the deal we made. You have to leave Sierra right now!"
Gama chuckled, "Really? On what basis are you saying that? Did you win the cooperation project?"
Jordan looked nervous until he said. "No, I didn't apply for the contract; Featherston already gave the project to someone else."
"You didn't get it? Why do you look so arrogant, Jordan." Giorgio said, which took Jordan by surprise.
"What are you talking about, Gio? Are you defending him?"
"No, that's not it. I just think you seem to have lost your mind. You've already failed but confidently demanded what you just said."
"You-"
"Stop it already." Audie interrupted Jordan.
"Jordana, forgive Gio. He's just talking out of his ass. Whatever happens, I will support you. I'll make sure you marry my daughter."
"Right, Jordan," Barbara assured. "Why would Sierra stay with a man like him? A failed man who's a disgrace, isn't that right, Mom?"
"That's right, Jordan. And you, Gama, sign the divorce papers and leave here. I'm sick of you."
"Looks like you still want us to part ways; what do you expect from someone like Jordan? Mom and Sister Barbara should reflect on their experience; a man like Jordan is nothing to be proud of, and the result will be like Gio. Just a big-mouthed physical slave with no results."
"How dare you!" Gio approached and grabbed Gama by the shirt. With a sharp glare, Gio said again, "On what basis do you insult me like that? While you are far worse than me, a poor man who only relies on his wife's sweat."
"Let go of me." Gama pushed Giorgio hard.
"At least I'm not a lying man, not a man who likes to leave in the middle of the night without your wife knowing."
Giorgio panicked, "What are you talking about? Who goes out in the middle of the night."
"I didn't say it was you. Do you think it was you?"
The question naturally raised questions for Barbara. "Is it true that you often go out at night?" Barbara looked at Giorgio suspiciously.
"No, that's not true. I never did that. Yes, I did go out in the middle of the night, but I went with your permission. Did you forget that?"
"So what's this?" Gama showed a video of Giorgio with a woman who was not his wife.
"What is this, Gio? You with a bar whore?"
"No, she's not a hooker, she's a good woman!" Giorgio seems to have misspoken. And that made Barbara's anger peak.
"If not a prostitute, then what are you doing? A good woman wouldn't make out with a married man unless you were lying."
"No, dear. I-I can explain. I-"
"I what? I'm disappointed. I want to separate. Divorce me right now!" After saying that, Barbara left, as did Giorgio, who continued to express regret for his mistake.
Gama just smiled at Giorgio's dispute, Audie, seeing Gama's expression.
"Are you satisfied to see them fight, Gama? Are you satisfied to make a mess of my son's household? What do you want? You are so cunning,"
Gama could only stare in disbelief at Audie's words and tried to explain.
"Mom, I just want to help Barbara, nothing more. Do you have the heart to see your daughter lied to repeatedly by her husband? You don't support the affair, do you?"
Audie looked troubled as if confirming what Gama had said.
"Mom, I'm doing this because I care about Barbara. I don't want anything worse to happen to her." Gama assured.
Not long after, a clap of hands distracted Audie.
"Good, I admit you're good at acting. You did it perfectly; what a well-organized plan. But unfortunately, I am not easily fooled. You're doing this just to gain sympathy from me, right?Jordan's hateful words affected Audie's mind."Is that true, Gama? Are you doing this just to get sympathy from me? Don't even dream about it. Even if Giorgio really did what you allege, I will still ask Sierra to divorce you. Now sign this!" Audie handed back the agreement."Hurry up, Gama. It's not like we had a deal; you said so yourself." Jordan reminded."When did I say that? You should have kept your word, stayed away from Sierra.""Whatever it is, you don't care. Now, just sign this paper and get out of my house.""But, Mom, we have to wait for Sierra. Sierra has to know about this because it concerns her, too, as you have heard. Sierra doesn't want a divorce from me; that's Grandpa's mandate.""I don't care. Sierra is my daughter, and the decision is mine.""What decision?""What decision?" Si
"I was looking for the employment agreement; I forgot where I put it. I've looked everywhere, but it's not there." She said as she continued to search."Didn't you show it to Jordan last night? You put it on the table, then we left." Gama explained. Hearing that, Sierra rushed to the living room. She searched again but still didn't find it."Not there either; where is she? Did you see the cooperation agreement file that I handed over last night? I put it here last night. I forgot to take it, and now it's not there." Sierra couldn't mask her panic."I didn't see it; I was too shocked by Gama's rudeness," she explained.Gama, who heard her, only looked at Audie indifferently."Brother Gio, did you see it?" Sierra asked again. But her older sister's husband also replied curtly, "No, I didn't see it. My mind was too busy soothing my wife, who was upset with your husband's behavior."Sierra looked at Gama, seeking an explanation for what Giorgio had said."Maybe Gama hid it." Barbara accu
"Sorry, is it that easy for you to apologize? You are a shameless brother-in-law. After you betrayed my brother, you slandered Gama, who had taken the file, but what? You stole it. You are the one with rotten behavior, and you dare to slander others to save yourself. That is an unforgivable betrayal. You must take responsibility for all your bad actions." The words came out firmly from Sierra's mouth, hoping that Giorgio would realize his mistake. However, all that happened was an apology on the lips, with no sign of genuine remorse. Giorgio remained silent, then flashed a sarcastic smile of disgust. "Do I care? Unfortunately, no, I don't care about what happened to your family. Your mother and her older sister are just hypocrites who are greedy to get recognition for their level of wealth. Still, they are poor people of habitat taking refuge under the name of Maheswara, and it is my greatest regret to be part of your family!" The words came out of Giorgio's mouth in a sarcastic ton
"Mr. Deny, you are right. And sorry for you, we can't sell you this car," the manager said regretfully."Come on, Mr. Manager, stop being so nice to a poor guy like him. No matter what, he can't afford this car, let alone pay for it. He can't afford it," Deny said again with his arrogant attitude."That's right, Mr. Deny. A poor man like him can't afford it, so are you going to pay it off now?" the Manager asked sharply, changing the position of power in the conversation. The woman in red tried to calm the situation with firmness yet confidence. The previously arrogant Deny now fell silent at the Manager's sharp question. Her mischievous facial expression showed that she realized her mistake.Nonetheless, the woman steadily took charge of the situation. "Sir, you don't need to worry. We'll pay it off immediately. Wait until my husband establishes cooperation with Featherston's company; after that, we'll pay it off," the woman said, conveying her confidence to the Manager. The manager
The faces of Deny and the woman in the red dress were full of panic as Gama insinuated them with sharp words. They felt shocked and a little ashamed of their earlier arrogance."No, sir, forgive us. We were wrong. We were too arrogant to judge someone by their appearance," said the woman in the red dress with a trembling voice, while Deny also nodded in agreement, his expression full of regret.Gama looked at the two people seriously before finally nodding. "I accept the sincerity of your apology. However, let's learn from this incident to not judge someone by their appearance alone."Deny, who had remained silent thus far, eventually voiced his opinion: "I concur. Each individual possesses hidden potential beyond their outward presentation. We must cultivate the ability to recognize intrinsic worth."They all nodded in agreement, learning from their mistake of being too quick to judge Gama based on his appearance. They hoped this incident could teach them to no longer get caught up i
Gama tried to explain calmly, "Oh, it's nothing. I was discussing work.""Work? Did you go back to work? Where?" asked Sierra curiously."Yes, starting tomorrow, I will be working," Gama replied hesitantly."At which company?" Sierra asked again with curiosity."Company?" Gama tried to think, trying to come up with the correct answer. "Umm... not a company, just as a driver. Yes, a personal driver." Gama looked relieved after getting the answer he thought was right. He especially saw Sierra's expression, which seemed to believe her explanation.Sierra nodded in understanding. "Oh, driving as a private driver. That's good. At least you're keeping busy with something," he said with a smile. Although Sierra still looked slightly surprised by Gama's answer, she accepted the explanation.Gama was relieved to see Sierra accept her explanation. Although she had been hiding the fact about returning to work at her family's company, she now felt more comfortable with her decision. The two conti
William clenched his fists firmly, feeling disappointed that the woman in front of him turned out to be just a staff."Where is your manager? Is this how a company that is so famous that it even holds the title of The King Unicorn works? It's lame," William said in a tone laden with disappointment.Lopiuy, who arrived just as William finished speaking, responded calmly but firmly. "You're angry, don't like what I'm doing? Who are you?" he asked curiously.William felt increasingly frustrated. "Should I be the one asking you? Who are you? And where is the main manager of this company? I want to meet and discuss important cooperation, not meet lowly staff like you."William's disappointment and dissatisfaction grew, and he waited impatiently for a satisfactory explanation from Lopiuy."Me? I'm the general manager of this company. Is this your attitude towards us?" replied Lopiuy calmly, but his expression showed he did not like William's rude attitude.William was silent momentarily, sh
Brak! The work file that William failed to handle was thrown on his father Walker's desk. He was quickly noticed by Ledy Maheswara, who happened to be passing in front of his rounds, walking with some of his assistants. As the file landed on the table, a braking sound caught Ledy Maheswara's attention. He stared intently at the table, looking at the file with curiosity.Without hesitation, Ledy Maheswara decided to step in and ask Walker about the file."What is it, William?" asked Ledy Maheswara. Unaware of Ledy Maheswara's arrival, William was entirely surprised by her presence.William turned his head quickly, surprised to see Ledy Maheswara standing at the entrance. He immediately tried to explain the situation as best he could."I'm sorry, Grandma. I failed to get the challenge contract." She said regretfully.Ledy Maheswara was surprised and curious to hear what William had to say, as was Walker. They both seemed to be waiting with serious expressions, wanting to hear further ex
