Angel passed Dave when they were about to walk into the sitting room. They stood up and looked at each other awkwardly.

"How are you?" finally, it was Dave who started the conversation, looking Angel from head to toe, appraising her.

Angel averted her eyes from Dave's piercing gaze. "I'm fine."

Angel's mind was still filled with that thought, the thought that maybe Dave was the brain behind the burning down of her house, that he was so cruel and mean to her. The thought hurt her more than she thought. Because Angel still loves Dave very much. Really love this man.

"The police will probably come here asking some questions. Well since you're the owner of the house, I hope you're in good condition enough to take them in."
