Chapter Sixteen: His Soft Side

"I told you not to harm her!!" Ella charged towards Nicholas and landed a hard punch on his face and it turned red instantly.

He was taken aback with the punch because he wasn't expecting that at all.

"And you, why are two traitors here!!" She questioned while the rest of the family strode in.

"Mr. Nicholas. I hope she isn't a burden to you" Her father asked, holding his hands and he smiled.

"Not at all, Taylor."

"I can't believe you actually asked that question! Taylor." Sarah came in looking disbelief at his statement. "Your daughter is in there because of this man and you think you should ask him if she wasn't a burden? You should be charging at him, questioning his attitude towards her but yet all you could do is ask some silly question." She yelled in anger and he hissed.

"Woman…be yourself here!"

Justin walked towards Nicholas and smiled, it was in a devilish manner. "Do you think she's a punching bag? Or some sort of property because of whatever contract you and father signed?
