Chapter 1 : PAST

I took out my phone and still I haven't gotten a notification that'd tell me he had texted me back. Eventhough it was so embarrassing to admit, even to myself, I was still hoping he'd reach me out again despite of the fact that he had literally ghosted me for more than a month.

"Em, have you talked with Bella lately?" Aunt Rachel asked, without taking her gaze off of her laptop.

"No, she's not a kiddo to check in on her." I stated, resisting the urge to roll my eyes.

"She's still a kiddo to me, Em." she said, throwing me a glance and I let out an inaudible sigh, dialing her number.

"Do you want me to call her?"

"How about you go to London and check in on her whether everything's fine?" My hands froze in mid-air when I heard what she said and I turned to look at her open-mouthed.

"Wh-What?"

"You heard me." She stated nonchalantly and she wasn't wrong either but I still wanted her to repeat to confirm what I heard was correct.

"You want me to go to London?"

"Yeah. But you don
