I was barely holding myself from lashing out, the audacity she has.

“Marco knew you wouldn't leave, guess he was right.” She chuckled softly as if what she said or did was funny.

Ignored her, waiting for her to be done with her message and leave. She won't come here and act like everything is fine as it is.

“He wants me to take you home, it's not safe here.” It's not safe? As if she wasn't the one that brought us here.
