“Wake up sleepy head. We are here.”Davies nudged Kylie lightly, and the young woman rubbed her eyes with the look of a child. She looked a bit confused, as was normal for anyone who had just woken up. However once her eyes traveled past the windshield and latched on to the huge signboard right in front of her, they sparkled in great excitement. “The exhibition would be starting shortly,” Kaizo reminded the team before adding, “Until then please refrain from touching any artefact or moving away from the viewing platform.”Kaizo comments seemed to wake both Kylie and Davies up. And their feet which were automatically shuffling towards the exhibition area stopped abruptly. Both had wry smiles on their faces upon realizing that Jack was standing still, with his eyes perusing the items. It was only now that Kylie noticed that there were others here. However, they weren’t that many, showing that not many people could get into Levity Museum. The two newcomers scanned every face there was, an action that took only a few minutes given the scarcity of those allowed into the museum. Jack, Kylie and Davies followed the beautiful guide through the hallway. They walked for almost 15 minutes with the end seemingly out of sight. This forced Kylie to wander about the vastness of the museum. "It didn't look this spacious from the outside," she thought.The further the group went, the darker it got. The surprising thing about all this for Kylie was the response of their fellow guests. Although they had been walking for sometime, none of the guests uttered a word of complaint; for each one of them remained silent throughout. This showed Kylie just how much power the museum possessed; for she recognised a few of the guests as very prominent men and women! Jack rushed to Kylie immediately upon sensing her unusual state. Davies snapped out of his trance as well and held Kyle's arm, roughly nudging her. His attempts proved futile however, for Kylie kept mumbling those same words. And her actions drew the attention of the guide."There should be no noise in Levity," the beautiful guide reiterated. Her smile remained, but her gaze was cold and unfeeling. Several ominous lights flashed in her eyes as a creepy aura was exuded from her slender frame. She cared not for Kylie's present state. All she knew were the rules of Levity. And the rules stated clearly that no noise should be made in Levity!The prominent guests who stood with them silently took a few steps back upon feeling the guide's change. Although they were figures of great power and authority, none of them seemed eager to get on the bad side of the Exhibution Guide. Davies quaked in his boots. Beads of sweat that shouldn't have existed in a world that was virtual, fell down his face. His eyes shook in trepidation as his arms lay limply at his side. The wolf before him was large and that couldn't be denied. But he had been in the presence of larger beasts and had survived! In all of those instances he hadn't experienced fear like this, yet right now an inherent fear that he couldn't fight suppressed every urge to run. He felt his heart telling him to kneel and accept his fate; to dare not go against the beast before him. Davies was as quick as a speeding train, yet he had the elegance of a swan. He was carrying a human being on his shoulders, yet his steps were light and quiet. He moved so quickly that it made one wonder if Kylie had any significant weight at all!Kylie's eyes easily took in the swiftly changing scenery. Each tree and leaf that they passed was captured by her eyes as easily as they would have if she was walking past them. It was a remarkable thing, and Kylie finally realised the oddity in her perception and cognitive processing skills at this point. However, those didn't intrigue her as much as Davies' speed did. Even with her ability to follow his movements, Kylie didn't know if she could react to such a speed! There was one thing she was certain of though: there was no way she would be able to emulate this kind of speed; and this was clearly not Davies' peak velocity!Logically speaking, Kylie should have rubbished what she was seeing since this was all happening in her head.
