Several days passed in this manner. Days slowly turned into weeks and soon, two weeks had gone by. As Jack and Davies trained alongside the other trainees, Kylie trained with the crazy archangel with the power to start and end wars. Each day was a gruelling one for all three champions, for though they trained apart, their minds were one. Their first mission had gone smoothly, but they had not forgotten that it was only so because their enemy didn’t know that they were enemies. Imagining actually facing off against Professor Huckleberry who was the 7th Sword of Ogre in his full strength was enough to send chills down their spines. Walkers were considered one of the weakest dregs of the Undead society. Just like Beastmen had star warriors, Undead also had their own hierarchy, and Walkers sat at the base of this hierarchy. Walkers were generally weak and could be defeated by even 1 Star Beastmen with little difficulty. They only became an issue when they attacked in large numbers. The cry of one Walker could attract the attention of ten more, and ten could attract the attention of a thousand more, and a thousand a million! Therein lay the strength of Walkers – the absolute ability to never be alone; yet this did nothing to change how they were looked at by both Beastmen and sentient Undead. Red Nest’s eyes opened sharply as he jumped off his makeshift bed. His red eyes pierced through the bright cave as he looked around stealthily. He had been sleeping soundly when he felt a sharp presence pricking the back of his neck. This was what had awakened him, and it was for this reason that he did not dare lay back down onto the straw bed his minion walkers had made for him. For a few minutes he searched the cave thoroughly. Then, he went outside to assess the safety of his perimeter. Outside the cave, there were walkers lying lazily on the ground in all sorts of positions. While there were a few still roaming around, they were few and far between.
