LORENA'S POV.

I couldn't focus at all during the lecture. I just sat there, letting my mind wander. These past few days had been filled with surprises and I was yet to recover from everything.

I was right. Andrew had heard my mom talking about Jonathan Railings. He was smart not to mention that we'd had dealings with him already and besides, I had no idea he was my father when I'd met him. But now I had gotten really curious about him and a part of me wanted to know more.

"What are you going to do?" He'd asked when we were finally alone. "Jonathan Railings and I have already signed a contract and the company's already working on the supplies. We can't escape him anymore."

"I know, and you shouldn't have to go back on the deal because this was the only way your father would let us be together. And it would make him suspicious too if you suddenly pull out. I know he has his suspicions already, it just didn't make sense to me then."
