EVA'S POV

Liam wasn't getting any better. We had talked about it after he was released from prison,that I wouldn't cover for him anymore and neither would his father. When he seemed to have gotten himself together and quieted down a little at the sub company, I had felt a little relieved. Maybe he was making progress after all, or so I thought.

I was wrong though, because I'd just caught him sniffing some fucking cocaine in the bathroom, at his father's business seminar, in a place that had reporters crawling around! What the fuck was he thinking? What if someone else had seen him?

And yes, he had been too out of it to even realize he had entered the ladies bathroom! I followed him then when I saw him to tell him he was going the wrong way, thinking he was too pressed to notice. But no, he was a junkie that couldn't control himself for even a second. We had talked about it, he wasn't supposed to cause any trouble today!
