A cemetery in the city....Derrick walked past a couple of graves in the cemetery and everywhere was as usual, dead silent. He was dressed in a black suit and he carried a bunch of rose flowers obviously going to visit someone who was very special in his life. He walked silently to a grave and the words'Anne Perkins,1996-2021.Were inscripted on the grave. Derrick knelt down and gently placed the flower that made light crunchy sounds on the grave. The cold breeze that strangely swept past him always in the cemetery and it wasn't that cold outside the cemetery, ruffled his jet black hair. "Hey babe." He whispered. "How are you? I'm sorry I didn't come on time like before. Work and stuffs and my mind has been occupied by one person and I don't know what to do." Derrick sighed. Anne was the only one who gave him joy and had given his life meaning ever since he had met her. But death had to take her from him.And it wasn't just a natural death....His lover was found dead in a forest
Josh had prepared his special soup for half an hour. He was quite fast when cooking and he also wanted Sabrina to taste his soup sooner. He came to the living room with the steamy hot Rotisserie Chicken Noodle Soup. Sabrina opened her eyes and her lips parted looking at Josh coming towards her with a bowl of the soup. Her eyes followed the steam that made it's way out of the soup.Josh placed the bowl on the table and helped her sit up. "Eat it gently it's hot." Sabrina licked her lips and grinned that made Josh laugh. Josh pulled the table towards her and Sabrina immediately digged in. She picked up the chopsticks and blew on the noodles. She took it into her mouth. Her eyes widened at the delicious taste of the noodles. She closed her eyes and chewed slowly.Josh watched each of her expressions in awe. He always enjoyed how she reacted in different ways because of him. "It's that good?" Sabrina gave him a thumbs up and nodded vigorously. She sipped the soup slowly and moaned in de
They kept on enjoying the scenery of the city from the balcony. Sabrina took a side glance at Josh. She really wanted to tell him about her plans of fixing up her house. She didn't want to at first, but it will hurt Josh and Daniel. She believed she had over stayed her welcome in the house. They might not feel that way, but she felt that way."Josh?" Sabrina called his name almost in a whisper."Yes?" He faced her.Sabrina immediately became nervous because of the way he was looking at her. "I ..um...I." She cleared her throat. It was so hard for her to say, but she had a home before all these. She couldn't live with them forever now that they are both in a relationship. "I um...house.. mine.""We can get your house fixed if you want then you can go back anytime you wish." Josh knew she had been trying to tell him about her house but there were times she would tell him to forget about it. He knew she wouldn't be comfortable staying here anymore and he totally understood. Sabrina eyes
The door bell rang for the third time that was able to wake Sabrina up from her sleep. She groaned wondering who was at the door. She had planned to stay home and sleep throughout the day. She looked at the time and saw it as past eleven in the morning. And it was a Sunday. She closed her eyes already dozing off again when the heard the fourth bell ring. Suddenly getting up in a swift move, she stormed towards the door. She opened the door and was about to lash out at the person but her mouth was immediately shut and her gaze softened. "J-josh, D-daniel."Josh and Daniel stared at her with their mouth agape. She opened the door furious and yelled. "Who the fuck...!" Before she stopped talking."I-i'm sorry I didn't know it was you guys. I was sleeping so.." She bit her tongue completely embarrassed at how she had behaved. Then she remembered something. She touched her hair and face to feel if she looked dishelved like the last time Josh and Daniel came to visit her.Josh pursed his l
Sabrina eyes widened. Josh was really shameless. She glared at him as he was laughing. "Stop it." She said through her teeth "Stop what?" Daniel asked confused. "What are you guys talking about huh?" He knew they were keeping something from him with the way Sabrina was glaring at Josh. Josh held his belly to stop laughing. Coughing lightly he said. "It's because she told me that...mm!" Sabrina covered Josh's mouth tightly not wanting him to say another word. She laughed awkwardly an dsaid to Daniel. "Don't mind him hehe he is just saying nonsense."Daniel narrowed his eyes. He could see Sabrina was lying. Not wanting to add more pressure, he shrugged. "Well whatever." He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He saw the caller and immediately, his face brightened. "Hello honey." He said seductively that made both Sabrina and Josh cringe. Daniel looked at them and rolled his eyes. "This is how you talk to your babe." He whispered softly and went outside to talk to his babe. After D
"Urgh." Josh groaned as he woke up from a terrible hangover from last night's party at his friend's house which he was forced to attend. His phone, which was on the table near his bed side, started ringing loudly."What?" Josh frowned as the person who forced him which led to his terrible hangover still dared to call him."Oh, hey bro. Are you ready yet?"Josh became confused. "Ready for what?"Daniel gasped dramatically which made Josh roll his eyes on the other line."Tsk tsk. Have you forgotten that we have an appointment with the grocery story where we wanna find a job?""So?" Josh asked as his head started bringing out flames because of the anger that was building up within him. After what Daniel did, he still had the guts to call him about a stupid job in a grocery store.Daniel was suprised hearing how Josh replied to him, completely oblivious to the tone of Josh's voice. "Dude, you told me you wanted to have a job to h
As Sabrina was still trying to get Josh's face out of her mind, she didn't notice when he came to the counter."Hey."On hearing his deep voice, she opened her eyes and jumped up from her seat. "Hey.""Please, can i get water?" He indicated rubbing his throat, to show that he really needed it."Oh sure, i will go get one." She went to the fridge and took a bottled water. While handing over the bottle to him, their hands slightly touched each other. Josh didn't feel anything but Sabrina felt a tingling sensation in her just by touching his hand. She quickly retracted her hands and left him to go back to the counter. He drank the water and said."Thanks."She nodded and watched him go back to what he was doing. She couldn't get her mind off how she touched him. She began remembering how shemet him in a course mate party...It was Mariah's birthday party , and she invited a lot of people to&n
Sabrina came out from Mrs Williams office and gazed at Josh again. "How can i even focus with him here. "She sighed and went back to her seat. After Josh was done arranging everything on the shelf, he decided to take a break. He saw Sabrina lost in her thoughts and decided to talk to her since he was bored. "Hey." He waved across her face and smiled, seeing she looked so lost. Sabrina came out of her thoughts. On seeing Josh, her heart nearly jumped out of her chest as she saw him smile. "H-hey." She smiled back. "You look lost." "Oh, im just thinking of college days." She immediately regretted what she said. Josh nodded. "Oh okay. Well you look familiar a lot, so i'm not suprised that we were in the same college." 'Does he remember what hapened that night?' She began to tremble but Josh did nottice. "Yes we were in the same class." "Oh yeah, you were the one that gave that awesome presentation that
