"I know I was too harsh on her, but why would she say that to me?" Miles ran his fingers through his hair frustratingly as he paced restlessly in his room.

"I mean..." He paused and slumped on his bed, his fingers sinking into his hair.

"I'm not that bad, am I? Is she just mad at me or am I really not her type?" Thinking about everything she had said to him earlier really hurt no matter how he tried to push it away.

"But I already apologized to her that I was sorry for saying those words to her. Why would she be so harsh on me?" He muttered and breathed in and out.

'You started it all, Miles. You shouldn't be complaining' His subconscious mind reminded him, and he groaned as he dragged himself up to his feet and dashed out of the room.

A few minutes later, Miles was standing in front of the door, contemplating on whether or not to knock on the door. What if she was still mad at him for saying that? What if she really didn't want to see him?
