~Leticia's POV~

I don't understand why my brother insisted on my coming here. I scoffed as I watched them give the honorary speech about the said Alpha king who sat all mighty on his throne and had this forced smile on his face. I need to get out of here.

I looked around but my brother was nowhere to be found. I shrugged and walked out from the crowd. I looked around and my legs took me towards the garden. As I was looking around and I bumped into something or rather someone.

"Ouch!" I winced as I held my forehead.

I looked up at the person who stood before. He has his eyes glued on me like I was some support to his life.

"Mate!" He whispered and my eyes went wide open.

"You say?!" I gasped in shock and moved back a bit to take a proper look at him.

"You are my mate?" He said more like asking.

"I don't know what you are talking about and if you may excuse me, I am here to get fresh air and you seem to be blocking it." I said to him and turned away from him. Before I could take anoth
