A girl dressed in an all black, long fitted gown with a thin black cloth covering her eyes sat in front of a piano. Her fair, long, slender fingers rummaged through the piano keys, and soon enough, a beautiful melody sounded from the instrument. The girl playing the music swayed slowly as if moving with the calm rhythm of the sound from the piano.
The tune coming from the piano seemed to carry magic as it healed everyone's inner soul. The tune carried a calming sound, which made people yearn more for it.
Just as the girl finished playing the song on the piano, a round of applause echoed around the big and spacious hall. All the guests present couldn't help but praise her skills of playing the keyboard. They all looked at her with care, admiration, and love, but mostly sympathy.
"What a pity, what's the point of having such a beautiful face, nice body, gifted hands, prefect talent, but a useless pair of eyes. Even with all her specialities, she's still blind." A guest said loud enough for everyone's hearing.
Although everyone thought the word as rude, they still nodded their head in agreement. What's the point of being perfect in everything if you don't have the sight to see the world as it is.
The girl on the stage heard clearly what the guest said about her.
A small smirk firmed on her exquisitely beautifully made face. She was used to people talking bad about her, so she was completely immune to their words.
She simply stood up from her seat. With the aid of her long black walking stick, she climbed down the stage to her seat at the front, gracefully and elegantly. Anyone who saw her at that moment without the knowledge that she's blind would have thought she wasn't blind.
As soon as she sat on her seat, a warm pair of hands held her ice-cold hand. " It's okay, tanya. You did well up there." Lydia said with a gentle smile on her face.
Tanya, who still had a cold look on her face, gave a little, or better still, a light smile back to her mother, or, to put it simpler, stepmother.
"Sister, you look extremely gorgeous today." Luna said to tanya cheerfully.
"Haven't I always been beautiful?" Tanaya asked back. Even with black cloth still on her eyes, luna could feel the smug feeling emanating from her.
"Oh, I forgot, sister, you are always beautiful. If you were a boy, I would have married you regardless of the fact that you're my sister." Luna said cheerfully as she held Tanya's arm possessively.
"I know, you have always told me how beautiful I look, but what use is my beauty if I'm just a disabled person." Tanya said, her voice as cold as ice. Just as she said that, she peeled of luna's hand away from her arm. "And dear luna, please, you know how much i value my personal space, so please, no clinging unto me." With that, tanya picked up her walking stick and muffled 'I'm headed to the restroom' to Lydia before walking away. Lydia stared at Tanya's retreating figure, and a wave of sadness rushed through her body.
In the restroom, tanya stood in front of the washing hand basin. After washing her hand clean and wiping the arm luna touched her with, she stretched her hand to feel the paper towel, which she knew would be somewhere around here.
After searching for minutes and couldn't find the paper towel, tanya sighed in frustration. She moved her hand to her face and removed the black piece of fabric covering her eyes.
As soon as the fabric was removed, a beautiful set of eyes was revealed. Eyes like rare diamonds, face like rare treasure, skin as white as snow, body like a masterpiece of God, overall, she is beautiful.
Tanya rubbed her eyes hard and blinked her eyes countless times, but still, she could see nothing but darkness.
Again, she groaned for God knows how many times. This wasn't the first time she did it, not the second time, and not the third time either. She had done that countless times, but still, the result was always the same.
Sighing in defeat, tanya took the black piece of fabric and tied it on her face back, picked up her walking stick, and left the restroom.
As she was busy walking through the hallway, she heard her father's voice in the hall nearby. She guessed he was giving the congratulation speech as the eldest. The hallway was dead silent, the only sound coming from the walking stick tapping the floor in a rhythmic sound.
Just as tanya was to enter the hall, she bumped into something, or maybe someone. As she thought she was about to fall from the impact, a sting pair of hands grabbed her slender waist, preventing her from falling. But due to the impact, the black fabric covering her face got loose and fell off her eyes.
Tanya eyes flickered gentle and soon opened her eyes only for an eye-catching pair of eyes to come into her view. For the first time in her twenty years of living, she finally saw something apart from darkness, a pair or eyes, looking down at her.
But that was the only thing she saw. The person who bumped into her steadied her on her feet and soon left.
Tanya, who was feeling weird about what she just saw, was hit by a gush rush of wind.
The wind made her feel dizzy, and soon, she fell on the cold floor, unconscious.

The morning sun shone brightly on Tanya's face. Tanya slowly opened her eyes but blinked severally. " Tanya, my dear, are you okay? Please answer me. You're making me anxious." Lydia said in an almost breaking voice.
" Miss tanya, are you okay? Please say something." The doctor who was sitting beside the bed asked.
" I don't think I'm okay." Tanya said after some seconds.
" Why, what's wrong, are you feeling pain anywhere?" Lydia asked with concern evident in her voice.
" I'm not feeling any pain anywhere." Tanya said.
The doctor looked confused as he asked again." Then, why aren't you okay?
" I can see very clearly now. I mean, I'm not blind anymore." Tanya said.
"What do you mean you don't understand what is happening?" Lydia asked the doctor. "Do you think what happened makes any sense? I mean, she said she went to the restroom, and when she was coming back, she didn't remember anything else again. Does any of that make sense? Think about it, she's was born blind, and even her father had consulted many experts ophathalmologist, but they couldn't do anything to help because that was how she was born. Now, all of a sudden, not only can she see, but she can see very clearly, she's seeing perfectly. The only theory I can conclude on for now is that her getting her sight back is a miracle." The doctor said. Lydia stood there, dumbfounded by the doctor's words. It's not that she isn't happy that tanya got her sight back, but the shock of her getting it back without any signs of notice was too much. She thought about how much tanya had suffered just because she was born blind. Many had criticized her, saying she was a demon, since even
Tanya opened her eyes slowly as the little Ray of sunlight peeped through the slightly opened window. She soon became alert of her surroundings. She remembered she was taking a walk at the beach when all of a sudden, someone covered her nose with a kerchief, which made her loose consciousness, and now, she ended up in a God-knows where place. As she was busy checking out her surroundings, she heard the sound of footsteps from distant. And from the sound of it, the owner of the footsteps was getting closer to her. Soon, she saw a person standing tall in front of her. His eyes looked down at her like a cat looking at its prey before devouring it. For the first time in her life, she felt extreme fear rushing through her body. The hairs in her back stood straight. As her eyes met with the man's eyes,She felt a cold chill pass through her spine. "Wow, my client didn't tell me you were this beautiful,if not, I would have brought you here earlier." The man said with his deep chi
Both moses and Lydia turned to look at tanya in shock. "Who said anything about losing the house? We were just talking about a game. Come on dear, don't think too much about it." Lydia said. "Do you take me for a fool? You expect me to believe that, will you tell me yourself or would you rather let me find out myself?" Tanya asked. Moses turned to look at Lydia, seemingly at lost at what to do. "Umm, tanya,it's really nothing. We were just talking about some irrelevant things."moses said. "And was I talking to you? Science has it that people who face their business tend to live longer." Tanya retorted. Moses was used to tanya shutting him up, but it still hurt him whenever tanya did it. Lydia knew she had to interfere, or else, the father and daughter duo would start fighting again. "Tanya dear, the thing is, well, ummm, w...." "Will you just spill it out and stop stammering." Tanya shouted as she got frustrated with Lydia's stammering. "Okay, I'll just summa
In a large spacious meeting room, all were seated with an anxious expression on their faces, excluding tanya, who had a calm look on her face. Her slender fair hand tapped on the glass table rhythmically as she waited for the so-called devil. She was running out of patience as she wondered what was keeping him late. "When did the idiot devil say he's going to be here?" As soon as tanya asked, the door opened, and a man dressed in a black tailored suit entered the room with his assistant following behind him, keeping at least five steps away from him. Alexander entered the room nonchalantly and sat at the head table. As soon as he sat, his eyes glanced at every single person who sat in the room. Soon, his deep voice sounded. "Who said the word devil?" He asked. Lydia and moses both felt their heart skip countless beats as they glanced at tanya. The other share holders also glanced at tanya pitifully as they all said the word 'RIP' in their hearts. "You all know I don'
Title: Destined with the devil Chapter:6 After what seemed like forever, Alexander finally let go of Tanya's lip. With a smirk in his face, he looked at the small cut he had made on her lip. Tanya felt a spurge of anger in her as she touched her lip only to see blood oozing out of the cut. Never in her life has she ever been treated like that. She felt like killing the stupid Alexander for doing that to her. "Hmm, little princess, you ate quite bold, and I like that. It's been a while since someone challenged me. But don't worry, I'll make sure you regret challenging me." Alexander said as the smirk still hung in his thin lips. Tanya felt so angry to the point that her little face turned red in anger. Just as she was about to do something that others knew she would regret, both moses and Lydia stood up from their seats and knelt on the cold floor, right in front of Alexander. "Master, please forgive my daughter. She's quite stubborn, but she's not always like this.
The whole room fell silent for a while as everyone was too shocked to speak. After more than thirty seconds of silence, tanya burst out laughing. Her head was thrown back, and her deep dimples made her look more gorgeous. She laughed hard to the point that a few drops of tears fell out of her eyes. Lydia, who saw tanya laughing like that, became furious. She knew tanya had always been stubborn but not to the point of her being foolish. The devil actually wants her, but here she is laughing. It seemed she didn't know the complexity of the matter. "If i may ask, why do you want tanya?" Lydia asked. "Do I need a reason to want her?" Alexander asked back. Just as Lydia was about to speak again, tanya spoke, "Do you really want me?" "Yes, I do. Any problem with that?" Alexander replied."No, I mean, you could have asked for maybe a share
Outside the four story building, a sleek rolls Royce black phantom car was packed right outside the entrance of the building. A josh then proceeded to open the back car for Alexander. Alexander entered the car while josh closed the car. Then, josh entered the car and sat on the driver seat. Tanya then opened the door of the car and sa on the co driver's. Soon, the car moved. If the outer part of the car is called luxurious, then the inner is called heavenly. The car is designed for the comfort of the people in it. Even the chair feels very soft and comfy. Tanya stared at the car for a long time till she heard Alexander talk. "What, you like the car so much to the point you started drooling?" Tanya heard his question and got angry. How dare he say she's drooling. She knew it was pointless arguing with the devil, and she was tired, so she ignored him. "Are you dumb? Didn't you hear me asking you a question?" Alexander said. But still, tanya ignored him agai
Alexander, who entered the room again to tell tanya that the bathroom was right behind the black curtain, was shocked when he got hit by the pillow hard. Tanya, who realised she had hit Alexander, also paused her hand in mid hair. The last time she cried was when she was three years old, but suddenly, she felt like crying out of frustration. Why did he have to come back inside at the wrong time? "Do you really have a death wish?" Alexander asked in a bone-chilling voice. "No, of course, I don't. It was a mistake caused by the slip of my hand." Tanya said as she chuckled awkwardly. "Do you realise this is the third time you are actually hitting me today? Do you really want to die?" Alexander asked as he walked towards Tanya, step by step, like a monster walking towards it prey menacingly before devouring it. Tanya also subconsciously took a step back, and the rhythm continued till Tanya's back hit the wall. Alexander then placed his hand on the wall be
