POV Alpha Gideon

"Don't talk nonsense, Katy! What are you implying with this? That I don't care about our daughter?" I growled impatiently, releasing Dr. Afonso, who slumped against the wall, coughing weakly and struggling to regain air in his lungs.

Katy advanced towards me, her eyes flashing with anger. She gestured for the doctor to leave, leaving us alone in the room. I stared at her seriously, but she didn't seem intimidated by my presence.

"What are you doing here?" I asked sharply, turning my back to sit at the wooden desk. The air was tense, filled with the expectation of what would come next. With heavy breaths, Katy positioned herself in front of me once again, forcing me to meet her gaze. Her eyes overflowed with rage. Then, with a sharp gesture, she threw the papers onto the table, as if unloading all her accumulated frustration and hatred. Her face twisted in a mask of pain and resentment as she began to pace back and forth, trying to keep calm but failing miserably.
