Chapter 7: Late

Klei and I was about to go outside the mall when I suddenly remember something. Ah yeah. I need to buy gift for Fea.

“Klei? Why don’t you go first? I need to buy something,” I said that made him stop on walking.

I didn’t really remember it earlier. And now I need to go back to second floor and buy gift.

He faced me. “What? I bring you here so I should send you back,” he said seriously.

“Eh.” I scratched my nape because of that. I’m really shy because I might take his time too much.

I will take so much time in choosing gift.

It is Fea’s birthday tomorrow. As a friend, I want to give her something. She is not really that too materialistic but I still want to give her a gift.

He was about to answer me when his phone rings. He answered and placed it on his ear. “Hello,” he said.

It takes them minutes to finish.

When they finished talking, he faced me again. He sadly looked at me. “I’m so sorry, Joyce. I really need to go. There is an emergency to the company.”
