Chapter 192

Chet's recent behavior was unlike his usual self. He used to prioritize Clara's needs without hesitation.

Clara wondered if Chet was upset because she had threatened suicide to force Warren back to her. The mere thought of it brought a flicker of displeasure to Clara's eyes. She couldn't afford to lose Chet. He was the secret weapon she relied on to keep Warren in line.
