Plans To Tell Their Family

Mrs. Fallon was stunned beyond words. She didn’t know that this brother of hers that she was capable of birthing would one day speak to her with all audacity.

“How were you raised in that house, or did you learn to be rude from going to Harvard Business School?”

“I know my right and I’m exercising it,” Richard retorted as he walked down the stairs. He was not afraid of anybody and that included his parents’ first child whom everybody in their family avoided.

“Your being rude to me will not take me anywhere. No wonder you are still single and will forever remain single. How can you talk back to me?” Mrs. Fallon dragged as her pitch rose.

Furious and without waiting for his response, she continued, “No woman likes a man who argues and looks for every opportunity to talk back.”

“Georgia, you asked a question and I answered you. Would you have been happier if I chose to ignore you instead?”

The second Richard asked that question, his sister hung up and threw her phone to the side.
