Chapter eight

When Alissa left, Lun forgot to ask her what she was going to tell him. They had been chatting and drinking coffee that she made herself after lunch. Paulina had stayed with them and that cat on her lap, stroking its little head gently. Luna had given her his phone number and promised to call her tomorrow.

When she was left alone, she went to her room and closed the door when she saw Paulina's cat chasing her. She left her cell phone on the nightstand before lying down on the bed and closing her eyes, trying to find some rest. As she fell asleep, she dreamed of her parents when she was ten years old. The four of them were in a park at dusk, it was in autumn. Her mother was running after them both to put a cardigan on them while her father laughed and helped them run away.
