Twenty Two

"When did you find out that you are pregnant?" Madam Florence raised a question.

It was a few weeks ago. I was feeling sick repeatedly, I assumed it was the difficulty of the work I engaged myself in. Since the death of my mother, no help from anyone. I often visit people's houses and ask if they have any dirty clothes, I wash to get paid. The little I earned from it, I spent on my day-to-day feeding, it's better off than stealing.

When I was feeling sick, I rushed to get Paracetamol at a nearby pharmacy. I only feel a bit relieved for short periods. After a while, the uneasy feeling resurfaced.
