Nandhini's POV"I lied that day about Janaki"He said with an uncomfortable look. What does he mean by 'lie'? No! How could he? What the fuck?"Come again. I think I heard you wrong!"My heart was racing."I lied, Nandhini. I dug my own grave by that. But what I am saying now is the truth. She was never involved in any of my actions. I asked her help but she denied telling me that you deserve a happy life. I was so angry that she dared to tell that to my face. That's why... I can't lose you. I was too afraid to lose you, Nandhini. Please unders..."*Slap*"Don't you dare lie to me just to get back to me."I am seething in rage holding his shirt collar. I don't know whether to trust his words or not. He let
Janaki's POVAfter returning from 'Paradise' on the earth, we returned to our daily routines. The summer was in full swing as if the sun had made an oath to burn us.I walked exhaustedly after the hot drive and rushed to the kitchen to fetch some cold water. My throat felt like Sahara desert with the twenty minutes drive from ICAI to home. I picked up the lemon juice instead, mentally patting myself for being prepared and gulped it directly from the pitcher which tasted like the nectar for a dying person. And after a few minutes of chilling near the fridge, I went to take a cold shower to get rid of my generous perspiration.I plopped on the sofa with my laptop as there was a little homework in tally from our ITT classes. After about an hour I finished my work and started with household chores. I finished cooking earlier and was waiting for my beloved husband.
Akash's POVLife will never give us a warning about anything. And anything would happen at any moment. I looked at the beauty lying gloriously next to me. I kissed her forehead and circled my hand around her waist. Life has its own twisted way of making coincidence and it would give you a beautiful result or ugly scars. My mind took me to one of such moments which gave me a beautiful eternity.^ Flashback ^I was driving to Nandhini's boutique. That woman had left two months ago to New York with her husband, leaving the business behind her manager. Her store's audit was handled by the firm where Jaans was doing her articleship. It was the firm where I did my articleship and I referred her there as I knew she was good at auditing subject rather than taxation. Vidhya and Jaans decided to do their intern in different firms as they had different field of interests and also it would be useful f
***Four years later***[This won't include the last chapter, Akash's POV]Third person's POV"Oh honey, I will come home soon, baby. I miss you already. *mwah mwah*"Janu mimicked Akash's voice while he playfully glared at her but soon a smile crept on his face with a distanced look. He was so smitten by his wife. But Janu was so happy for her friend. Akash got married to Priya two years back. And she was his breath. The best part is their cute little bundle, Krish. Like his name, he will steal anyone's heart in a matter of seconds."Hey, don't tease me, Jaans. You were also like 'Oh mama, when will you come back? Your pumpkin and munchkins are waiting for you. Come home soon, darling... blah-blah-blah...' so quit teasing me and ask Zee whether he had spoken with Ganesh groups of companies. Getting their audit would be a turning poi

Prabhu's POVMostly MNCs will mail their employees to inform that they are kicking them out in the formal language. I quickly called Akash to confirm my suspicion."Akash! I got a mail from the company's board. I didn't open it. Do you know anything about it?"Instead of answering my question, he started laughing like a crazy person. After a couple of minutes, he composed himself and spoke."Hey idiot! Just open the mail. I will stay on the line"I opened the mail praying all the gods I could remember and started reading it.I could not believe my own eyes. I started doubting whether I am daydreaming. But the idiot on the line shouted to tell him whether I read it or not.I disconnected the call and ran into his cabin. He started laughing after seeing me. I punched him in his gut for not telling me about this earlier."You should be thanking me, dude! Not punching me. Anyways congratulations for the promotion"Yes
Janaki's POVI am staying in a private hostel, sharing the room with my cousin Vidhya. I have been waking up Vidhu from 6 AM. Now the time is already 7.30 AM. I already did my morning routine and yoga. But my sleepy head cousin is in her own dreamland, blushing in her sleep. I captured a picture of her blushing to use it later to tease her.Do you know? Choosing your best friend who is also related to your family is a very risky choice in life. But I am very happy to choose her. She is trustworthy and she is the type of friend who knows what to tell me to make me feel better at any situation and support me to bring the best in me.Even at the time of some disagreements between our parents, we didn't mind their scolding for going to each other's houses which are practically located in the same street.I and Vidhu have planned to celebrate her parent's anniversary. For that, we are going with Prabhu mama to get necessary things. (Mama is commonly used to ca
