THE EVIDENCE

"Should we ask her about it?" Nicholas bent toward Avery. Avery glared at Beatrice.

"No, don't. Let's wait till after the wine and dine. Don't spoil the fun!" Avery yelled beneath her voice.

"Why did you have to yell?" Nicholas scowled.

"I didn't. I just have to maintain a voice you can hear with the high pitch noise in this tavern."

"No one can hold his liquor better than me." A man with a gold beard and a loud voice bluffed after finishing a bowl of liquor.

"Did he really finish that?" Nicholas asked Avery.

"We are both watching Nicholas. Don't ask me questions like that. I'm still amazed." Avery glared at the dwarf.

"Let me prove it to you." Danika's solemn voice filled the room. Her actions brought more evidence to Nicholas.

The eldest prince of the moonstone clan was the strongest liquor drinker in the whole of Arbedour until Danika challenged him and she won. Maybe that sums up the reason Elias hated Danika up till now.
