MIAAfter the whole incident between Ross, Josh and I, i have been completely avoiding Josh like a plague. I dry my hair and lay on my bed, reminiscing about the moment Josh and I spent in the past few hours. After that wonderful kiss we shared, we watched horror movies while eating popcorn and drinking iced tea.I chuckle when I remember how I threw my bowl of popcorn in fright and Josh’s exact words.“You’re acting like Do Do-Hee.” He’s the one that said we shouldn’t talk about the movie anymore, yet he was comparing me to the female lead of that movie.“You’re supposed to cuddle me instead of wasting perfectly good popcorn.” I laugh softly. I feel air slowly being sucked out of me, my life flashing before my eyes.So this is it? This is how I'll die? ROSSI have been waiting for Madeline for a while now but she isn’t yet back. How long does it take a woman to give a girl food and clothes? Could Mia be trying to get Madeline to help her escape? The lady opens her eyes and glances around before standing up and walking towards me.I eye her up and down before moving towards a hidden compartment in the room and bringing out a suitcase filled with cash.I hand it over to her and she gasps at the sight of the large amount of money.“This looks way more than we agreed, boss.” I nod.“That’s cuz it is.” She smiles.“I appreciate boss. MIARoss pulls me closer, deepening the kiss. He pushes his tongue into my mouth, exploring it and I reciprocate.Why am I kissing him? Why am I not breaking the kiss? Am I not cheating on Josh? ROSSI walk out of the room in a bid to clear my head. What changed? Why did I suddenly decide not to scare her any longer? Why did my heart soften on seeing her that way? What was awaken in me?I inhale deeply, climbing down the steps when my phone rings in my pocket.I bring the phone out and I’m quite taken aback to notice that the caller is my dad.He never calls unless it important, what could be so important? I pick up the phone and I’m greeted by his harsh tone.“I need to see you. I have been thinking about what my dad said to me and I’m finding it very hard to believe it. What he said makes absolute sense but I don’t want to agree, I don’t want to believe that he’s right, I mean, why would Mia kiss me then? “No one kisses the guy that they’re afraid of.” I remember arguing.“No one kisses the guy that they’re not in love with.” My dad had replied.It’s true though, no one kisses the guy that they’re not in love with.
