Chapter 13

Nera slowly opened her eyes; her entire body felt funny. The strange pills she'd taken had a strange aftereffect that made some parts of her body feel funny, or it could have been the sex marathon her new husband had subjected her to.

Her husband had made love to her for the entire night. Even though her body was tired, she did not want him to stop. The man was a beast in bed, and at one point she was sure he was going to tear her apart.

She slowly lifted her body off the bed and looked over to his side of the bed. Marcus was fast asleep, snoring.

Her uncle snored too, though it was louder. She could only guess the snoring came with age, and she was going to be subjected to that for the rest of her life, she wondered.

Most people learned about such little vices in courtship but for them, it was a different story, they were going to start learning about their flaws after their marriage.

She got up, dragging her body to the door on her left, which one could only assume was the bathroom
