CHAPTER NINE

Louisa and her father surprisingly kept to their word. None of them had had Bella whacked all day and she could not be any happier.

Louisa on the other hand was seething in contentment every time she looked at Bella and couldn't hit her. Every day of her life, she made sure to hit Bella at least three times, but the entire day had gone by and she had not laid her hand on her and she felt like she was going to die. Regardless, she did not want to go against her Alpha's orders. She didn't even want to visualize what he would do if he heard that she had done otherwise.

She was so close to becoming Luna and living the life of her dreams, she wasn't going to let a piece of trash like Bella come in the way of her plans.

"Bella!" She called from the living room and in less than no time, Bella came scurrying, inclined to attend to her as always.

  "You called"

"Get this thing away from my sight" She instructed, referring to the empty cup that was lying on the table before her.

Bella instantly picked up the cup and looked at her again.

"Is that all you want me to do?" She asked curtly and Louisa shook her head.

"No, I have some work for you tomorrow." She said as she turned to face Bella. "Alpha Achilles will be sending his guards anytime within the week to bring me to the castle, I don't want them to show up when I'm unprepared. So tomorrow, I need you to organize my stuff and when I say my stuff, I mean everything I own. Pack them up, so I can be ready. And mind you, if you exclude a single thing, I will forget about the Alpha's embargo and redesign your face. Is that understood?" She threatened and Bella gulped dryly as she nodded her head.

  "Yes, Ma'am Louisa"

"Good, now get out of my sight" Louisa ordered and Bella galloped away from her intoxicating presence.

She rushed into the kitchen where she placed the cup in the dishwasher and took off her apron and heaved out a sigh of relief.

She couldn't believe the day had finally gone by without Louisa hitting her countless times.

Alpha Achilles was indisputably, her hero.

She looked around to make sure everything was in check before switching off the kitchen lights and walking out.

She was done for the day and at that moment, her body begged for sleep, but she knew she was not going to give in to its demands because she had about two chapters of a book to read before she went to bed.

As she walked across the living room to the door, she made sure not to formulate any sound that would make Louisa notice her. The last thing she wanted was to get a smack from her.

The moment she successfully made her way out of the mansion, she headed directly to the servant quarters where her bedroom was located.

  HOURS LATER.

Silence had crept into the entire pack and it felt like everywhere was deserted. Like there were no inhabitants and that was off of the Wall Street pack because no matter the hour of the night, there were always people outdoors, doing one activity or the other.

That particular night was different because there was not a single soul on the road as Bella walked to an unknown destination. She had no idea whether she was dreaming or not, but all she could feel was the conviction to go on with her journey to nowhere

It was like someone was influencing her from somewhere because she was very well known in her right mind, she would not be walking around in darkness, to an unknown destination.

As she walked further, she was flabbergasted to see the castle before her.

"What the hell is going on?" She asked rhetorically as she walked over to the mighty gate. Normally, there would be a multitude of patrols at that gate, but there was none at that juncture and that stymied Bella.

"Strange" she whispered to herself as she walked over the gate and pushed it open. She was cognizant of what she was doing, she knew it was strange and unusual, she knew she had no right to be at the castle at that moment, but she couldn't turn back and walk away.

She felt like she had her mind, but someone else was controlling her body.

She walked over to the gate and got even more startled when she saw it slightly open. Without thinking, she walked into the yard and still there were no guards.

She walked across the path of the well cut lawn and made her way into the castle.

The second she stepped in, she was welcomed by the enormous ballroom where the party had been held the previous day. She gently closed the door behind her and walked in, with her eyes wide open as she gawked at the beauty of the entire hall. It seemed like they had not begun reorganizing the room because all the emblems seemed to be in place.

Her legs mysteriously kept marching forward and before she knew it, she was ascending the stairs but her heart wasn't pounding.

She wasn't scared that she could get caught and that was strange, but she brushed it off and kept walking up.

When she arrived at the top of the staircase, she saw two long hallways that had no end on either side and without even thinking twice, she took the hallway on her right.

As she walked across the hallway, she was fascinated by the number of doors that were sited side by side the walls of the hallway. After a few minutes of walking, she suddenly came to a halt before one of the doors and inhaled hard.

This door was different from all the other doors. It was a doubled door that looked so mighty and heavy and she wondered what was behind it.

She had no idea what she was doing.

She had no idea what was inspiring her to do what she was doing.

She had no idea what would happen to her the next day when they found out what she was doing.

All she knew was that she had to do whatever it was her body was leading her to do.

After a long moment of pondering, Bella finally stretched her hand forward and held both handles of the door and pushed it open with all her might. The moment she stepped in and raised her head up, she opened her mouth wide in shock at the sight of the bedroom before her.

It was nothing short of a master's bedroom and the king-sized bed located at the center wowed her to the core.

Still in shock, she turned around and closed the door before turning to gawk more at the room she found herself in.

The theme color of the room was black. From the couches in the sitting area, to the carpet on the floor were black. Even the sheets and duvet on the bed were black.

The drapes that hung on the door and window screamed expensive. Everything in the room screamed expensive and Bella was awestruck.

Even her master's bedroom back at home was nothing compared to this room.

As she admired the asthetic view of the bedroom, she wondered to whom it belonged to.

The person must love black very much and he or she must be very organized because there was not a single thing out of place in the bedroom.

"Who is there?" A deep voice asked, causing Bella to tremble on the spot out of fear. She hastily spun around to the direction of the sound and her heart almost hopped out of her chest when she saw Achilles walking into the bedroom from another door Far North of the bedroom. She stood still on her spot and swallowed dryly as she watched the mighty Alpha approach her with a blank countenance.

She couldn't tell whether he was angry or disappointed or happy that she was in his bedroom.

She was terrified at that juncture because she had no idea why she was in his bedroom or how she got there. If he were to ask her those questions, she would have no answers to give him.

As Achilles stood before her, she quickly bowed her head down as a sign of respect and waited for him to speak, but that didn't happen. Instead, what she felt was a finger under her chin, gently persuading her to lift her head, which she did. For the first time in forever, Bella managed to maintain eye contact with Achilles. There was so much passion burning in them both.

As Achilles stared down at the ocean blue eyed girl standing before him, passion darken his brown eyes and there was only one thing on his mind, to strip her off her clothes and make love to her.

He had no idea what she was doing in his bedroom, or how she got there in the first place and he did not care to know.

Bella on the other hand stood under the merciless gaze of the Alpha king, waiting for him to start interrogating her, but no questions came and that baffled her alot. Having Achilles stand this close to her set off flares of heat inside. She was completely flustered and flushed.

Her heart pounded, her pulse careened and that oh-so-inconvenient desire thundered to her core. She started to say something, but was stopped when Achilles's lips came down on hers.

What started hard and fast slowed down when her mouth opened under his, much to her own surprise. She had never been kissed before.

She had never imagined her first kiss would be with the Alpha king, so I do not need to tell you how confused yet proud she felt at that moment. The shyness she felt morphed into a heated intense passion that enveloped them.

He searched her lips, searched into her mouth. His tongue stroke deeply, tangling with hers. She strained towards him and gasped in his mouth when he slid his palm down her back to cup her posterior and tug her against his arousal.

That was when she understood that things were about to take another dimension, but that still didn't scare her at that moment. She had to break the kiss and run away, but she found herself kissing him back all the more, compelling him to move on with his plans.

Heat swirled in her center, slick moisture built in her core, something she had never experienced before, but… even the moon goddess knew she loved the feeling. There was this very tantalizing feeling in her core that made her moan involuntarily as Achilles touched her at the right spots.

Soon, Achilles's mouth left hers and began to trail heated kisses down her neck. His hand slid up to cup one of her breasts, her nipple pebbling against one palm through the thin dress she wore.

"Bella…" He whispered with a raspy voice. He was so hard at that moment that he felt like he would die if he didn't do the deed with Bella that night. Without warning any more time, he scooped her slim body into his muscular arms and took long strides to the bed, where he gently, carefully rested her on it.

There was hardly any more foreplay as they both quickly shredded off their clothes and tossed aside.

Achilles hovered over Bella on the bed, looking straight into her blue eyes and he could see that she was frightened by what was about to happen.

He had no idea what he was doing, what was going on at all, but he couldn't control himself.

"Have you ever done this with anyone before?" He found himself asking and a wave of pride and consolation washed through him when she shook her head. He lowered himself on her, supporting his weight on his big arms so as not to crush her tiny body and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"This is going to hurt for a while. I need you to close your eyes and think of anything else, but this moment" He cautioned and Bella quickly heeded, but not for long.

The kind of pain she felt when he attempted to penatrate her caused her to snap out of her thoughts and let out a loud scream, thrashing on the bed, but Achilles was quick and strong enough to hold her still.

"I'm sorry" He whispered a thousand times in her ear as he kept trying to slide into her very tight core and when he succeeded, he let out a loud howl and a surge of passion, desire, love exploded within him.

That was the first time in his life he was touching a woman, making love to a woman and that woman happened to be just as pure as he had hoped.

Tears rolled down Bella's cheeks as the big Alpha gently, cautiously stroked in and out of her like he owned her, like he was idolizing her body.

The only pride she had left had been taken away.
