ADRIENNE'S POV
I had Chemistry class next which luckily for me, both Aileen and Kate took too, the only twist being the fact that I was partnered with Aileen. And this always got Kate pouting, every time we had practical because she was paired with Emily, the captain of our swimming team, and as you know it, Christian's ex-girlfriend.
We enter the chemistry lab and settle down, when I notice a familiar face. It was one of Alec's friend and beside him was the two time winning prom queen, Lexi.
Well how did I know this when I just moved here you ask, Aileen feeds me with all the gossip I need to know. She never takes a break. We make eye contact for a brief moment before our teacher walked in.
"Is everything okay between you and Kate?" Aileen whispers in my ear.
I knew she wasn't going to drop the issue until she had all the answers needed.

Nick had told me earlier that he wasn’t perfectly sure Alec remembered all that had happened Saturday night and I couldn’t help but wonder to what extent he remembers. I mean we had literally shared a kiss and it wouldn’t be fair on my part to remember that moment all alone.After Saturday night, I had avoided Alec like a plague.
