“Can you do that for me?” His feet moved forward, dragging across the floor with his claws by his side. Denise looked down at them, then back up to his face, another wave of tears streaming down her cheeks. She couldn’t believe the words he had just said. He was telling her he’d cut her mark off, who would believe it?

“I don’t understand…” She said quietly.

“What’s there to not understand?!” He settled his hand on her shoulder, pushing her down so she was laying flat on the bed with her back against the mattress. While making sure his eyes did not stray to her exposed parts, he climbed on top of her and she looked up at him, her puffy eyes drowning in tears and her body shivering under him. He gritted his teeth. The vulnerable expression on her face was messing with his head. She was looking at him as if he was doing her wrong when it was actually the other way around!
