Chapter 5 - First Meeting

In front of her was the most gorgeous creature of God and that person was only in a towel. It was her first time watching someone's six-pack abs.

WTF, Jennifer! Stop being a pervert, she thought, scolding herself.

"Who are you?" That man asked her but before she could answer he spoke again.

"Oh, I get it. You must be a beautician. You are here to get me ready, right?" He asked, looking at her after moving his gaze from the mirror.

Jennifer looked at him with a questioning gaze and he again gave his attention to the mirror.

"I am definitely gonna look like the most handsome man today though I am already handsome." He was praising himself with a proud charming smile and Jennifer stood at her place like a statue.

"Why are you standing there? Come and help me." He said, looking through the mirror at her but she still stood there gawking at him.

"Am I so handsome that you can't move your eyes from me?" He said smirking and she rolled her eyes listening to him.

Suddenly he started walking near her and stood very close to her.

"BTW, you are very cute and sexy." He said, keeping his hands on her waist but she couldn't remove them as her hands were occupied with mugs.

She looked at his hands which were on her waist then moved her gaze to his face.

"I am cute but from which angle am I looking sexy to you?" She asked as she never saw her like that whenever she looked in a mirror.

"If you want, I can prove it to you." He said while smirking again.

Now, he is being a pervert. Enough of his shit! Jennifer thought and stomped her shoes on his bare feet.

This time she smirked at him and he let go of her waist. Then she quickly ran out of his room before he could catch her.

While running, she looked at his room to see if he was coming behind her or not but suddenly she bumped into someone. She tried to balance her hands because they were holding the mugs but the coffee spilled on her neck and hands.

She screamed in pain because of the burning sensation and without her notice, the coffee mugs fell from her hands and shattered into pieces. Tears started to spill out of her eyes because of pain and she still didn't know who she bumped with as she didn't look up the whole time.

"Jennifer, are you okay?" Kate asked, holding her shoulder while looking at her redneck.

"Who is she?" Jennifer heard a deep chilling voice which made her shiver suddenly.

She was looking down at her hands but after hearing that voice she looked up to see that two deep black eyes were staring at her with deep intensity. He was so handsome that she felt shy to look at him so she looked away from him.

Jennifer looked at Kate who was struggling hard to answer his question.

Is it hard to say that I am her friend? She thought, feeling bad while feeling pain because of the burning sensation.

"Ethan, she is the one who took me to the hospital that day. I got to know that today when Kate introduced her as her friend. I am very happy that I could meet her. Please, don't be rude to her. Come on say, Thank You." Their mom said.

So, he is Kate's brother. Wait a minute, a handsome man like him will say, 'Thank You' to me. Jennifer, control yourself, Jennifer thought and controlled herself from looking at him.

"Say it." Their mom said again but this time a little bit sternly.

Jennifer could feel his eyes on her but without saying anything he went away.

Arrogant much! He is not only handsome but also has a very big ego, She thought glaring at his retreating back.

"Don't mind him. He is like that with new people." Their mom said as she is well aware of how Ethan is!

He is like that not only with new people but with everyone except his family.

"It's okay, Aunt." Jennifer said and she raised her eyebrows at her and instantly she realized her mistake.

"I mean, Mom." Jennifer corrected, chuckling.

"Your neck has become red due to burning. Come with me, I will apply ointment." She said and Jennifer followed her silently as she couldn't bear the pain.

She applied ointment in the burning places then she took the bandage from the first aid box.

"Mom, is it necessary to use a bandage?" Jennifer asked as she didn't want to look odd at the party because of a bandage on her neck.

"If I don't use a bandage, the ointment will wipe away soon." She said and bandaged her neck and hands.

"Is it still painful?" She asked, looking at her with worry.

"Yeah." Jennifer whispered.

"Take this painkiller." She gave her a pill and without any tantrums, Jennifer gulped it with water.

"The party is going to start soon. Go and get ready." She said and Jennifer left for Kate's room to get ready.

On the way, she was looking at her bandaged hand when she bumped into someone again.

Why am I bumping into people so much today? She thought while rubbing her nose.

"I am sorry." She apologized and then looked up to see who she bumped into!

The person was none other than Mr. Egoistic Jerk and yes, Jennifer gave him that name. After staring at his face probably for a minute, she realized that he was holding her waist since the moment she bumped into him.

She quickly removed his hands from her waist and looked here and there but didn't dare to look at his Greek God face.

"Are you blind?" He asked in his deep voice.

Can't he talk softly? If he would have flirted with me, I would have definitely flirted back, She thought while daydreaming about him!

"No." Jennifer said sternly and didn't let his gaze intimidate her which was slowly making her knees weak!

"Then you can't walk?" He asked, seething in anger.

"I can walk." Jennifer said frustratingly.

"Then why are you crashing into me so much? Are you doing it intentionally?" He asked which made Jennifer furious.

"Why would I intentionally crash into you?" She asked glaring at him.

"Girls like you are very desperate to get man's attention." He said and looked at her like she was the most disgusting creature ever.

She looked at him with pure rage and she badly wanted to say 'Fuck Off' to him but she controlled herself not to lash out at him.

"What will I get by grabbing your attention? Don't think, so highly about yourself. You are no special!" She replied smirking, making him clean-bowled in a second.

"If you are done with your blabbering, I will like to go because it's suffocating in here with you." She said, smirking again.

He glared at her with such intensity that she thought he would eat her alive anytime soon so she quickly ran away from there to save her ass from getting spanked.
