"You're really not going to tell me her name?" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders before finishing the last of his beer in the bottle. "Not even a clue?"

"Nope," he answered, putting a period on it.

"So, what is it that makes you so mad about the whole world?" I asked, refraining from pressuring him to reveal who he's interested in.

Among my cousins, Aaron is the only one born with a soft heart towards women. He's the kind who sets boundaries between flings and serious relationships, respects and comforts women, but also knows when to let go.

I had a feeling Aaron would soon find someone to connect with. I just knew it.

"She just doesn't know how to be sweet, and it's frustrating the hell out of me," he shared, clearing his throat. Opening a new bottle, he settled back in his seat, his gaze fixed on the stage where a woman was singing an old slow rock song.

"But she calls you," I pointed out, causing him to snap his head in my direction.
