"Katie, have you been to school?" Asked Millie

Katie shook her head.

Well, she understands what school is at least, thought Millie, "would you like to go to school so that you can play with the other children?"

Katie shrugged again but nodded as well.

"You're not sure?

She nodded.

Millie was pouring her a drink of milk when the door opened, and Nick came in.

"Sweetheart, I'm sorry," he put his arms around her, "he just needed...something."

Despite being cross with them, Millie couldn't help but put her arms around him, "Is he okay?"

Nick pulled a face, "He's in shock, he's just discovered that's he's a father, he never knew anything about her," he nodded at the child, "Is she okay?"

Millie pulled a face, "Well, you know all about that, but at least you got some idea about Jess before she turned up. This little one has been through a lot. Why is she here?"

It's not just the eye colour, the shape of the face, and other things. he will probably have to do a DNA test anyway if the police get involved after the next chapter.

I remember my cousin got sick the doctor ask her dad if he could help with transfusion.. she looked like him.. came out he wasn't the father oh man what a blow.. my life is crazy some one told me I should put it into story.. always check..

I am confused just cause some what same color eyes it's his child??? nah.. my cousin had the same thing this chick came out of nowhere brought a 10 yr old girl she had hazel eyes and light brown just like him he did DNA test the results not his I know bs we were pissed but i always say check first.
