CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: Meeting An old Friend

As I dropped the kids off at school, I proceeded to the restaurant where I was meeting May. As I walked inside the restaurant, my gaze landed on her, and I’ll say she never changed a little bit; she”s still looking beautiful and hot just like before.

“Babyyyyyyyy” I shouted with my arms wide open as I rushed toward Vivian, not minding if there were people who were not comfortable with the way I was shouting, but that’s their own problem.

May didn't even act like she saw me but just lowered her gaze and then called the waitress. I'm disappointment, I released my arms that were hanging in the air and took a seat in front of her. We ordered food, and we both ate silently.

“I've got a few more months to live,” I broke out to her, and immediately she froze as she dropped her cutlery, her jaw dropped and looked at me in bewilderment.

“What did you just say?” She asked, not sure of what she heard, but I just gave her a light smile and then continued eating.
