Qinn's heavy breathing lapped at my hind legs as we pushed forward, the forest quiet, only interrupted by the flash of lightening every now and again. RIDER The last wolf snarled back at us from about one yard out, before rushing off with the others disappearing into the thickness of the trees. I'm over one hundred percent sure what we're about to do is the stupidest thing anyone could've ever done. But it's the only thing that would ever get Ammoy to just STOP talking. I'm pacing around our room while Moi sits watching me. My feet always ends up returning to one place. The window. I'm nervous maybe a little bit weary.
